Hello,
to enjoy your sweet life carefree in Berlin, I offer you a shared room in a beautiful and renovated old building apartment.
Your future room has about 20 sqm, a sanded floorboard, high ceilings and a beautiful view of an old chestnut tree. The apartment has a total of 2 rooms (74 sqm) and is located on the second floor of an old building in the back house (quiet location and no street noise).
The apartment is fully equipped with a new fitted kitchen (including refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee machine :)) and invites you to linger at the large dining table and on the couch. In the large bathroom with bathtub we get everything necessary under and still have Schnick-Schnack like a towel heater. Furthermore, we have a storage room in the apartment and a basement room.
As a small Schmanckler, the warm summer days can be spent excellently in the very cozy courtyard. In the house itself live almost exclusively younger house parties (+-30 years) and we know each other well. :)
Including all utilities, the room rent is 600 euros / month. Earliest possible move-in date is 15.10.2023!
The apartment is located in the charming Wedding with direct connection to the U8 & U9 (Osloer Straße) and the Straßenbahn M50 and M13. To the S-Bahn and Ringbahn as well as to the long-distance train station Gesundbrunnen it is two stations with the U8 or a few minutes walk.
In the immediate vicinity there are various shopping facilities (DM, Denns Biomarkt, Rewe, Kaufland Lidl, etc.) as well as a small bakery with us in the street.
To relax invites the Panke (3 min walk) and the Volkspark Humboldthain (two subway stations away). Probably the best vegan restaurant in town (O-Slow) is located in the front building. Restaurants, bars & pubs (Wilma, Oh Calcutta etc.) etc. are in the direct vicinity and can all be reached on foot.
Jobwise I'm very busy right now, but a shared flat-sharing life is still very important to me and I'm always happy about interesting and funny conversations or a drink together in the kitchen or in the summer in our courtyard. In my free time I like to go bouldering, have a drink at Wilma or a coffee at Kater & Goldfisch around the corner or go dancing in the clubs. It would be great if you can keep the apartment clean and tidy even without a cleaning schedule, and am happy to meet someone with a green thumb.
Since we've been working with the neighbors and on our own to make our courtyard chic, we've developed a pretty cool house community. We sit together regularly for brunch, drinking, chatting, open-air cinema.
As a roommate, I would like to find a person who enjoys living together in a shared apartment, who can contribute independently and who doesn't see shared apartments as a necessary evil to save money. If you prefer to spend your time only in your room or are practically never at home, we probably won't get together - sorry.
