About the Room:
The room is 12 square meters (129 square feet) big or small, depending on how you want to see it (3x4). At least that's what the lease will tell you. In fact, it is a little bit bigger but not as much that it would make a noticeable difference, maybe about one square meter. From the window, you would have the look at a small Park in front of the house. The walls are painted white, and before you come in, they get a fresh up. The room is would be without furniture.
After I painted you a basic picture of the room, let's talk about the flat, we may share.
The Flat has two rooms( your room and my - a little bit bigger - about 15 square meters), a kitchen (big enough to cook or bake, even to have dinner for two, but that's about it) with all the different kitchenware as oven, hearth, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine, smoothie maker, and not so much a kitchenware washing machine. I got all the plates and some glasses as the forks, spoons, knives and so on. So you don´t need to bring a thing if you don´t want to, and you would be fine.
Of course, the flat has a bathroom but sadly doesn´t have a bathtub, just a shower. ( i miss the bathtub - actually I think about buying a portable one.), and of course, there is a toilet in there. Quite clean. I like that way ;-).
All that is bound together by a hall, wide enough to let the stand dryer standing there not be bothered by it on way to your room. At the end of the hall is a small space( about 1,5x2m), where you can put some of your stuff, you don´t want to have in your room or for which don´t have the space in there.
Das Zimmer hat 12qm (3x4), zumindest so sagt der Mietvertag. (In wahrheit ist es in wenig großer, aber nicht so das es in markantes Unterschied machen würde (vielleicht 1qm). Aus dem Fenster hat man den Ausblick in in kleines Park welches vor dem Haus ist. Die wände sind weiß gestrichen und bevor du einziehst kriegen in neuen frischen Anstrich. Das Zimmer wird ohne Möbel vermietet.
Am sonnsten handelt sich um eine 2 Zimmer-Wohnung. Diese besteht aus Flur (breit genung um einen Washcäständer dort stehen zu lassen und dennoch ohne Probleme durchzugehen), einem Bad (trauriger weiße ohne Badewanne - tatsächlich habe ich bereits nachgedacht darüber eine zu kaufen) und Küche mit allen Geräten (Herd, Backoffen, Geschierrspüller, Kaffeemaschine, Smoothimaker, Microwelle). Ich bin ausgestattet mit semtlichen Tellern und einigen Gläsern und Tassen sowie dem rest was man so zum Kochen und essen braucht, also such wenn du nichts mitschleppst, kommst du klar ;-).
Am sonst befinde sich am Ende des Flur in kleines cca 1,5x2m großes Abstellplatz wo du zum Teil deine Sachen die du nicht I'm deinem Zimmer unterbrings lagern kannst.
Let´s talk a little bit about the location. The Flat is located in Berlin Steglitz ( but not quite as of hand). To have a better idea the S-Bahn station Attilastraße is about 5 minutes and the station Südende is about 10 minutes (if you walk slow). There are all the supermarkets in the near distance (Netto, Lidl, Edeka) as the Butcher, Post, and different other shops (Florist, Pharmacy and so on). There is quite a lot of green spaces around here, different Parks, and "Sternwarte", like the Swimming Pool. But the most important thing for you is probably that you come to the middle of the city (Friedrichstraße) in about 25 minutes via S-Bahn.
Die Wohnung befindet sich I'm Berlin Steglitz(allerdings nicht am Ende der Welt). Um eine bessere Idee dovon zu bekommen, es befindet sich zwischen den S-Bahnhöfern Attilastraße (5min) und Südende (10min)(wenn du bissl langsamer lüfst). Es befinden sich gängige Supermärkte in der Nähe (Edeke, Netto, Lidl) sowie in Metzger, Post, Florist, Apotheke, Biomarkt und so weiter.
In der Nähe sind Parks sowie die Sternwarte mit Schwimmbad.
Das wichtigste, du kommst in die Mitte in 25min mit der S-Bahn.

My name is Matej, and I am living in Germany since 2012, in Berlin since 2019. Even though I am a little bit older, I am still a student. To be more precise I am studying Film/Filmmaking. Due to the recent Corona situation, I am studying via Internet. As you can imagine, Film is also my hobby, as is going out, sometimes to parties, sometimes for Hiking or different sport-activity. I like it clean (not in the OCD kinda way), and friendly at home. There would be a lot I could write here about me, but I am not trying to date you or get a job. So I decided to keep it short. I speak English, German.
The life
I would like to get a roommate, with whom I can spend a little bit of time together (watch a movie or have a talk, drink wine or beer) but on the other hand, I would respect your privacy, and expect the same from you.
Soweit, so gut, jetzt kennst du die Wohnung sowie die Lage, bzw. kannst du dir eine grobe Vorstellung darüber machen, also lass mich dir kurz etwas über mich erzählen.
Ich bin 34, im Herzen und Kopf bissl. junger und komme aus der Slowakei. Momentan befinde ich mich in Ausbildung zum Mediengestalter für Bild und Ton. Film gehört zu meinen Passionen... schauen, schreiben, drehen... Mein Musik Geschmack verliert nach meiner Laune, oder Wetter.
Ich verbringe das ein oder andere Wochenende auf Party, allerdings zuhause mag ich es eher ruhig.
Was das WG-Leben angeht. Gewisses maß an Freundlichkeit, Höflichkeit und Sauberkeit soll dabei sein. Wir können gerne mal zusammen unternehmen, mal Kaffee, Tee, Bier oder Wein trinken, Film schauen, gemeinsam Kochen oder draußen was unternehmen. Natürlich ist dies keine Bedingung und du kannst auch deine Ruhe haben, dennoch sollten wir zur einander keine Fremde sein.
