There is a beautiful 18m2 room available in our gorgeous 180m2 flat! The room is semi-furnished with a 1,40 sized bed+mattress and a large garderobe setup for clothes and storage; one large window facing north gives the room a lot of natural light! Anmeldung available.
The flat itself is nothing short of breathtaking! There are custom/design light fixtures in every room paired with gorgeous ceiling murals. The entire flat is 180m2; this includes a 34m2 living room (with a home cinema setup), a 30m2 shared workspace, and a balcony. The kitchen is 17m2 and includes a gas stove & dishwasher; and there is a 5m2 closet space that includes a washing machine. There is one shower but two separate toilets. And there's even an antique German stove in the living room!
We are looking for someone starting from April 1! You can stay for at least 8 months and potentially longer depending on how things go :) We are also open to couples!
This flat is conveniently located right near S-bahn Savignyplatz -- the U7, U1/U3, U2 and various bus connections are all within walking distance, and the ring bahn is just two stations away. On the street, there are a lot of amazing restaurants and cafes -- you will never run out of new places to try!
We are a three-person WG of artists! I (Sorvina) am a hiphop artist/singer-songwriter, Steph is a professional dancer, and Shannon is a photographer. Me (Sorvina) and Steph are partners so it is a necessity that whoever moves in is an ally of the LGBTQ+ community. Additionally, the third person in our shared WG is Shannon, and she and Steph are sisters! We also have a little dog — his name is Nalu, he is a hypoallergenic breed (Cockapoo), barky at times, but very sweet!
This is a very social WG -- we often have friends and family coming to visit for overnight stays, and our Berlin friends are often stopping by for coffee or dinner. We are very respectful of each others privacy and alone time, however, it is also very important to us that we live with someone who wants to build a home with us; we are often sharing meals, watching movies, and chilling together. While this is a social WG and we want our fourth roommate to feel comfortable inviting friends over, this is NOT a party WG. It's crucial that the flat and the things we keep inside of it are respected.
I am from New York, and Steph & Shannon are from Hannover so this is an English and German speaking household. Hopefully this goes without saying but we have no tolerance for discriminatory behavior or opinions; this is an entirely FLINTA, bipoc household and we're open to living with someone outside of those identities however keeping our home safe and comfortable is our number one priority.
