The room is cozy and full of light. I will leave my furniture and books in the room, as I am only leaving for 6 months, but I will take away all of my personal belongings such as clothes etc, so that you can make yourself at home and have space for your stuff.
The most spectacular part of this room is that half of it is a winter garden. However you will have all the perks of a winter garden without the cold in winter, as it has a heater and without the noise as the house lies on a side street.
The sleeping/ living area of the room is fully surrounded by curtains so that you can have privacy and relax:)
One of the best things about the flat is the amazing location. It is located a 5 minute walk from the S Charlottenburg, and right between U Sophie-Charlotte-Platz, U Bismarckstraße and U Wilmersdorfer Straße. There are plenty shopping oppurtunities around, with a supermarket in a 3 minute walking distance and more supermarkets around, which are easily reachable by foot. On the nearby Kantstraße there are many bars, restaurants and cafes, it's the perfect location to grab diverse foods and also go for breakfast and for some drinks. On the nearby Wilmersdorfer Straße there are also different shops.
Due to the location in Charlottenburg and the excellent public transport connection you can reach about any part of town quickly and easily.
Near to the flat there is also a lake which can be reached within an 8 minute walk, the Lietzensee. There you can lounge on the green spaces, take walk, run and whatever else you like to do. :)
We are a WG of four people, and I, Kati am moving out for an internship for six months. Then there is Caroline and Karem, who are both 21 and students. Caroline studies medicine and Karem communication science. Victor is 25 and works in the management of a moving company. We all get along well and sometimes do activities together, but everyone lives their own life and has their own schedule, so whether you want to socialize or be left alone - both things work fine in our WG.
A registration will be possible, this "Zwischenmiete" is official and allowed by my landlord. The flat has a washing machine, bathtub and a dishwasher which you can always use. We have a cleaning plan with each person doing a different task every week in rotation.
If you are interested in the room, write me a bit about yourself and what you will be doing in Berlin during the six months, and if things match we can agree on a video call with all of the flatmates, as two are currently not in Berlin. You can also come to the flat to visit it and see it in real life :) But the part to get to know each other will have to be online via videocall.
