Hi!
We are looking for a new roomate in our beautiful home! The offer at the moment is for short term but long term could become an option.
The apartment and room are fully furnished. The room is a spacious Altbau room with herringbone parquet, stucco and balcony. It comes with everything needed for everyday life, such as a bed, desk, closet. In addition, it has a projector with a screen, a good sound system including a record player and a huge bulletin board.
As a special feature, the room has a gigantic mirror wall with the dimensions of 3.2 m*3.7 m. A mopping robot is available for everyday cleaning.
The entire apartment is 177 square meters, with lots of windows and stunning 5m ceilings. We have: 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms (including bathtub), kitchen, huge living room, and laundry room (with washing machine). The apartment was renovated earlier this year, but we retained some of the charming Altbau details, leaving a few exposed walls and the ceiling Stuck. The kitchen is outfitted with brand new appliances including: gas stove, large fridge, and electric oven (with steam function). Additional appliances include dishwasher, sodastream, moccamaster, etc.
The apartment has two main entrances, with one right next to what would be your room. An additional bonus is that we don't have downstairs neighbors.
The apartment is located a 3 minute walk from S-Westend, which is on the Ringbahn and can quickly take you all over the city.
There are many grocery stores within walking distance: Netto (1 min walking), Lidl (2 min), Edeka (3 min), Penny (5 min), and Rewe (5 min).
The Kiez is beautiful, full of Altbaus and tree-lined streets. The Schloss Charlottenburg is an 8 minute walk away, and the hidden gem Lietzensee is a 10 minute walk. We have many bars and restaurants, and here you can still go to a restaurant for lunch for 6 euros.
We are Olivia, Noémi & Rue!
Olivia is 26, from Seattle, and has been living in Berlin for 5 years. She works in political research, generally from home but also has an office down the street. She likes to cook, watch movies, goes to museums, and hangs out with friends. She likes to go out on the weekends but don't likes throw parties at home.
Noémi is 21, from Budapest, and has been living in Berlin for 1.5 years. She is studying architecture at the TU and is a hobby barista. Despite being the youngest member of our household, she is probably the one who most has their shit together. Thanks to Noémi, we often wake up to the smell of fresh coffee and sound of vacuuming in the morning (at a fair hour).
Rue is 24, from Istanbul, and fresh in Berlin. She is studying gender studies at Freie Universität.
We are an LGBTQ+ friendly household looking for an empathetic, open-minded person to move into our WG! Additionally, it is important to us to maintain a clean home, and are looking for someone who has similar habits.
