Das kleine ruhige Zimmer liegt gleich neben der Wohnungstür. Es ist sehr hell, mit Bett, Schreibtisch, Kleiderschrank und Regal möbliert.
The small room is next to the door of the appartment. It is very bright, furnished with a sleeping chair (or small bed), desk/table, small,wardrobe and bookshelves.
Die Wohnung liegt im ruhigen, grünen Stadtteil Friedenau zwischen Bundesplatz (S-Ring und U9) und Friedrich-Wilhelm-Platz (U9). Auch zur FU Berlin ist es nicht weit (Bus plus U-Bahn).
The appartment is situated in the quiet and green district Friedenau (part of Schöneberg) between S/U Bundesplatz (circle line and U9) and U Friedrich-Wilhelm-Platz (U9). You can easily geht to the Free University of Berlin via bus and underground.
Ich bin schon ein älteres "Semester" (pensionierte Lehrerin mit den Fächern Deutsch und Englisch) . Ich arbeite freiberuflich als Sprachlehrerin und Freie Lektorin sowie ehrenamtlich im Buchladen von Oxfam. Seit vielen Jahren biete ich jungen Frauen - überwiegend aus außereuropäischen Ländern - in meiner Wohnung für einige Zeit mein Zimmer und meine Gesellschaft an. Ich bin kommunikativ und neugierig, zu einem Schwätzchen in der Küche bereit, gern hilfsbereit, was Informationen zu Stadt, Ämtern etc. angeht.
I'm already an older semester (retired high school teacher with the subjects English and German). I still work as a freelance teacher in German as a foreign language and as a volunteer at the Oxfam (NGO) bookshop. For a couple of years I've hosted foreign female students and PHD students in the small room. I'm very communicative and curious about different views and cultures, open to a chat in the kitchen and prepared to given information in Berlin, authorities, cultural activities etc.
