The room has a size of 20sqm and is furnished. It's equipped with a double bed, desk, chair, cupboard and nightstand.
It has a balcony which is facing the inner yard and the sun is shining in it during the lunch hours.
The kitchen, restroom, bathroom (incl. washing machine) and wifi are shared with me.
The room and apartment is located in the side wing and is not facing the street which make it quite quiet. When leaving the quiet street, Ostkreuz, Boxhagener Platz and Warschauer Straße are directly around the corner with all it's active street life.
The U5 (Samariter Straße) and S-Bahn / trains (Ostkreuz) can be reached by walking within 10 minutes and there are two tram stations nearby.
Quickly about me: I'm Hans, 35, originally from south Germany, living in Berlin since 17 years and work part-time in Software Development. I'm an active person, like to socialise, do sport, go out, dancing (Contact Impro), clubbing and travel - and I'm currently preparing to go for a world trip sabbatical.
I used to live in shared flats (5+ roommates) for about 8 years before moving into this apartment with my previous partner. I don't want to create a permanent shared flat in this apartment yet, but the apartment is bigger than I need it, it's not very sustainable and I can use the money to travel more (😅). Hence I want to rent out one room temporary.
The room is only available in the given period, but it's possible to stay shorter - e.g. from Saturday to Sunday for 2 weeks. I'm happy to host German or English speakers. I picked English for the advert to not exclude expats etc.
