The room is in a 2 room apartment. In the apartment (80 sqm total) there is a big kitchen / living room area with balcony and a big corridor and two bedrooms. The bedroom that is on offer has a high bunk bed with mattress, saving a lot of space in the room. There is a desk, that can be put away and stored. The mattress can obviously be placed on the floor if a bunkbed is too annoying, and then there is space available on top of the bunkbed.
The room is available from today, 21 august until the 24th of September. The total rent for that period is 350 euros. The deposit is 100 euros.
Straßmannstr. Is located right next to the M10 tram line on Peterburger Str. This goes from Warschauerstr. all the way to Nordbahnhof. This is a 1 minute walk from the apartment. The closest S-Bahn station is Landsberger Allee or Storkower Str. Both are a 15 minute walk, if you walk quick, perhaps 10! There are a few cafe's on the street, and like always in Berlin a doner shop around the corner and a Spati. Delicious pizza place across the street. There are a couple of supermarkets 5 minutes away. (Kaiser's, EDEKA, DENNS BIO).
It is a quiet building, with mostly young working people and a few children. There is a cafe downstairs.
I'm Ben, I'm from Belgium and I am renting out the apartment. I am working as sound technician but I am working abroad until the 1st of October. The person you will be living with in the flat with is Philip, he is a 28 year old German photographer. He speaks fluent German and English. I will put you in touch with him so he can meet you to see the flat. I expect you to generally keep the shared spaces tidy and clean. What you do in your room is up to you, as long as it is returned clean :)
