Hello Berlin! We look for a new flatmate in our WG in Friedrishhain. We are lucky to have kept an old rent so it's cheap like 10 years ago. Altbau with a lot of height, so every room and even the entrance has a hochbett built in. This house has a tradtion of performers and artists, so we are more than happy to keep on with it, we are not afraid of metronome clicks and scales practices. This house is quite free to built things in, so if you feel inspiration as a builder and you want to build a slide to go down from the hoch bett, or renew the regal system in the kitchen, go ahead!
We are:
Michele, 30 something, philosopher, bass player in his band, the Dirty Feetz, loves cheese, comes from the mountains of the Italian alps, has a great beard, and is a pretty good cook.
I'm Antoine, 32. I write code to make computers do what I want them to do. I'm also guitarist and tango dancer. I often try without much success to translates his french humor into many other languages. Otherwise quite a friendly lad. Always on the search for people to jam on some jazz standards or random chords.
We look for someone who embraces the WG spirit, is social, has initiative for organizing and cleaning, building and repairing things at home, would go along well with our many visiting friends and neighbours. Hey, bring some cool friends at home too. A feminine presence would be apreciated to balance genders a bit, but Michele is leaving in three month, so this could be also for the next one.
About the flat life: DIY, playing and listening to music, philosophing, repairing bikes, cooking, but also organizing life, cleaning, going out to the park or for some beers and concert. It's not much of a party WG though, but we like connecting our mutual friends. Family ambiance, mutual respect, communication, understanding, sensibility, good vibes, that's what we like.
Oh and language! eventhough I write this annouce in English, it's because I want to be very clear and it was quicker. We both speak and like to speak German, English is also possible but it's less fun. We speak italian with each other, and you can communicate with me also in spanish, portuguese, or try to learn some of my french if you feel adventurous.
