Hi there
as my former flatmate had to move back home to Belgium, I need to find another nice human to move in with me!
I have a 2-room-apartment located in the heart of Friedrichshain and would like to find someone that is clean and respectful, that treats the house as a home more than just a place to crash at night. Until the end of the year I will work from home most of the time, so need someone rather quite and easy that keeps busy as well.
About myself:
Hi, I'm Ania! 30, German-Polish, at the moment finishing my Masters in European politics, part-time working in consulting, rather quite, likes sports...sometimes, bouldering, bit of traveling, scuba diving & cooking. I'd call myself introverted and often not super talkative, but I'm warming up a bit after a while. Just to align expectations I'm usually not doing much with my flatmates outside our kitchen, but I'm always keen to share some updates about what's going on in each other's lifes over a cup of tea. I lived in shared-flats the past years and always had a friendly relationship with my flatemates.
I like my flat to be a quiet and peaceful place. Which doesn't mean that you cannot invite your friends over, but my flat is not a good place for regular parties. In times of corona I'd also like to skip the tradition of a house-warming party for once.
From time to time I have my girlfriend staying with me, but at the moment she is living abroad. More regular a friend's dog is coming over, but it'll of course not go to your room.
I know that it can be hard to find a room in Berlin, but as I'm getting soo many messenges from people that did not read even half of the description, I would like You to start you're message with "My Sharona". ;)
About the flat:
Your room will be fully furnished. Ceilings are 3m high with stucco. The room has a south-side window into the inner yard of our building. Which is not a super nice, but ok view. Like in all old houses with wooden floors and high ceilings, one can hear the neighbours sometimes. Just mentioning.
It is a 2-room-apartment.
I am renting this apartment since a few years already and would sign an official subrental contract with you.
The lease for your room will start between September 20th and October 10th.
Your room will cost 470€ per month, all bills included.
"Anmeldung" will be possible to arrange.
Documents needed for the contract:
- some proof of income
- copy of ID/passport
- liability insurance
The location is very central in the very lively district of Friedrichshain. Kopernikusstrasse is near S-Bahn station Warschauer Strasse and U-Bahn station Frankfurter Tor. There are countless bars and affordable restaurants just around the corner.
I give you some detailed info about the furniture the room comes with, just like you can see it on the pictures.
The furniture in your room will be the following:
- Bed with mattresses (extendable to 160cm)
- Closet 2m
- Table to use as a huge desk and to have a small dinner party
- Office chair
- Green Sofa with coffee table (can fit 1-2 guests)
- Carpet in front of the sofa
- Chest of drawers
- Mirror
- Lamps
- Brick wallpaper
- Some decoration on the wall I'd prefer to keep.
The apartment has a small but fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and a whole collection of very useful electrical kitchen appliances.
The bathroom is quite alright as well with a tube/shower, washing machine and space for some cosmetics.
The corridor has a shoe rack for you.

I'm always open for having a cup of tea together. If you're new to Berlin I'm happy to help you with all questions you might have.
And because unfortunately this still seems to be an issue even in Berlin: LGTBIQ*-friendly
