Hey I am Mark and I rent a room in my apartment in Berlin. The room is furnished, has a queen size bed (140cm) with a premium mattress, a sofa, and a desk, huge wardrobe. We've also got a washing machine and a newish dryer and Refrigerator. Rent as states here covers everything (like Gas, Water, Energy, Heating, Internet, household insurance incl. bicycles).

The apartment is directly in the center of berlin, in Friedrichshain close to a big park (Volkspark Friedrichshain), where I love to hang out, have BBQ, beers and where people do all kind of sports etc. With a car it's 5 min to Alexanderplatz, with Tram it's 8 min. The northern area of Friedrichshain is quieter and less touristy than the southern part. We have a great public transport connection with several trams (M5, M6, M8, M10) which operate even at night during the week, and after a short walk there is access to the Sbahn trains (Lines S42,S43,S45, S46 und S8). Everything you need for living, like groceries and a barber or a swimming pool is all in the vicinity.

There is one young professional in the flat right now. I am living there but I travel a lot for work and pleasure so that I am rarely at home. We are pretty quiet actually, with the usually hobbies including reading books, going into the park and going into the gym. We are both LGBT. If you are LGBT as well, makes things easier and maybe funnier.

Please don't smoke. No smoking, vaping etc in the room, not even from the window, or elsewhere.
