Hi the bed frame will be gone so it is just a mattress on the floor. We have a kitchen, with freezer, fridge, 2 bathrooms, one with washing machine. We have a shower and a Bath. The whole flat is 130m2
The whole flat is well heated in the winter. We have huge windows so it's airy but also have blackout curtains.
Rigaer str. Frankfurterallee S bahn/U bahn end. If you know the Ring Center that's where we are.
Trams, S bahn (ring) s8 and s9, U Bahn, loads of fast food places, right next to Ring Center 1 and 2 and 3 (being built ) that has every shop you can imagine.
To be honest it's about 20/30 secs from s bahn and 10 secs if you run. It's a bit longer to the u bahn. So many shops around. Not far to carry groceries at all and there's a 24hr spati and always every type of food around so I rarely use delivery unless I;m mega mega lazy. BUT of course it#s noisy due to all the people and things around so I sleep with earplugs especially in summer but it depends on you
Currently we are 3 female friends, one of our friends took this room temporarily until she could find the perfect place for herself and her cats, so she is very sadly leaving us on 30th September.
The remaining is me Cate 32 (I'm the hauptmieter) from Australia and Justine 25 from France. We speak English at home but we speak German up to level b2 according to our german teachers. Our Scottish friend 33 is the one who is moving out.
We are all professionals in the music industry and video gaming industry and online marketing industry. Each of us travels overseas very often for work and usually at least one of us isn't here for a couple of weeks at a time. The reason our flatshares work I suppose is because we are kind and understanding and we like each other and we are really relaxed but respect each other's rooms/jobs/ need for silence on a week night.
We are just like three friends having a flatshare, we aren't possessive about food or washing up powder or washing up in general and we have a cleaner.
Since we live so close to Boxhagener Platz, we dont tend to have parties at home unless it's for specific reason. BUT in saying that this flatshare will prob be better for someone working 9-5pm because sometime there is one of us who might come home drunk and try to find food in the kitchen on the weekend or cause other general mess which is cleaned up in the morning in embarrassment and many apologies (I'm proud to admit this is happening far less regularly than previously but maybe expect once every 5/6 weeks).
