The room comes fully furnished with bed, wardrobe, desk, chair, drawers, mirror, mattress. The room has large windows and captures a lot of light, especially in the evening.
The flat has two bathrooms (one for girls and one for guys). We have a very large kitchen space that also serves as our common area, equipped with three fridges, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, two large couches.
There is a bike rack outside and a cellar to store anything if you should need.
The flat is conveniently located 2 minutes walk from Ostkreuz station from which you can take S-Bahn (S3, S5, S7, S9, S75, S41/42 Ring) or the regional train lines which pass through Ostkreuz. It's a blessing living so close to Ostkreuz as the entire city becomes easily accessible.
We're 3 minutes walk from the nearest supermarket (Lidil) and about 10 minutes from REWE/Aldi.
In Friedrichshain there are countless restaurants, cafes, bars, clubs and spatis. And they're all on our doorstep here. We're also within walking distance of the Spree and Treptower Park which we all visit frequently together throughout the summer :-)
Our flatshare is a large, international, openminded family consisting of students and workers from different walks of life. Without wanting to sound corny, we really are a family. We hang out, go out, plan days out, eat out/eat in, look after and support each other. Our common language is English but as you can see there are multiple spoken languages within the WG. Some of us are creative types (musicians, designers, fashionistas), and others are academics (students, programmers). Although and because we are a large WG we value people's space and privacy, if you are in your own room you will have privacy.
Due to the current state of the world, we would prefer to hold video calls to show the flat. That being said, if after the video call you are seriously considering joining us and feel the need to visit the flat in person we can try and arrange something :-)
- Available from the 1st of June (possibility of moving in sooner if needs be).
- You'll be renting from the landlord, who I will put you in contact with should you decide to take the room and will make up a contract for you.
- Registration (ANMELDUNG) possible.
- €450 monthly rent (all bills included).
- €900 deposit (paid back when you move out).
