Hello Berliners and Berlin Expats,
My name is Anna, I am 28 and I have been living in Berlin for the last 2 years. As I have moved in with my boyfriend, I am looking for a responsible person to take over my room in the 2 person WG located in a beautiful and historic building which has been the set of film productions like "Babylon Berlin"!
The room is great for anyone looking for a quiet room with great vibes. It is about 20 m2, with a lovely balcony facing a quiet side street of Karl-Marx-Allee. If you do home-office work, then I am sure you can appreciate the value of it. The room comes with a nightstand, a cupboard with lots of storage space and a small 90x200 cm bed which I replaced with a bigger 160x200 cm bed. If desired, you can puchase the larger bed from me for a fair price.
If you like security in these times, it's the perfect room for you: The room will be available at least until the end of this year! However, you will have the option to extend the contract if you want to stay longer.
The room is free from now on and I am looking for someone who will take over the room as soon as possible. Viewings can be scheduled on short notice for this Friday and Saturday.

Alexanderplatz and Hauptbahnhof (Central Station) are only one train ride with the U5 away. From U5 Weberwiese station which is right outside the building, you are only 3 stops or 6 minutes away from Alexanderplatz and you only need 15 minutes to get to Hauptbahnhof. Tram M10 gets you directly to Mauerpark.
It is a quiet neighborhood, but if you need a little more action - Boxhagener Platz and Warschauer Strasse with many restaurants and bars is just right around the corner. If you are a fan of nature you will not be disappointed: right outside of the apartment is a rose garden with a lot of places to sit and relax. Also, Volkspark Friedrichshain with the amazing Märchenbrunnen is only a 15 minute walk away.
You will be moving into a 2 person WG with a girl. Anybody is welcome, no discrimination, provided they care about the place that is going to be their home.
The apartment comes with a hallway, bathroom, kitchen and storage room. The bathroom has a bathtub and can also be used as a shower. The kitchen is small but it has everything you need including storage space, 2 hot plates, 2 fridges, 2 countertops, a small electronic oven, pots, pans, plates, bowls, and plenty of cutlery. There is a washing machine as well. If you need to store some of your stuff outside your room, there is space in the storage room inside the apartment. In the building there is a bicycle room to store your bike.
I am going to sell some furniture in the apartment which belongs to me since I will not need it in my new place. The following items are for sale (price negotiable):
- bed frame with mattress (160x200cm)
- cute wardrobe installed with a motion-sensor activated light
- freestanding makeup mirror
- garden table for pots
- kitchen table for up to 4 people - table size is adjustable (I will include the pink chairs for free)
It would be great if the person who will move in is taking over most of the furniture. :)
