It’s one of two cozy and quiet rooms. (~17m2). The room will be empty when you arrive so you have space to creat your own home. The flat is on the ground floor, so it stays cool during hot summer days, though in winter it gets a bit colder so it's good to have a carpet for warmer feet. Our bathroom is enjoyable like a little spa and our kitchen is fully equipped and contains a small sofa to chill on with friends! Further we have a nice garden in the backyard, a huge cellar compartment with a lot of storag space and charming neighbors, who just got themself a super cute puppy dog!
The flat is next to Bösebrücke, the last house on the Wedding side of Bornholmer Straße. So you are close to Prenzlauer Berg and Weeding. In 4 minutes your are at S Bahn Station Bornholmer Straße, the Tram passes by every 5 Minutes and in 10 minutes you are at Gesundbrunnen. There you can find Gesundbrunnencenter with many shopping possibilities. Moreover Humbolthain Park and Panke is nearby and the neighborhood around Gesundbrunnen offers nice bars, cheap restaurants and turkish supermarkets. Also for sunday flea market shopping Mauerpark is closeby :)
You will live together with me, Paula (24). Friends descibe me as communicative, entertaining and caring flatmate. I study sociolinguistcs and anthropology at Freie Universität and I love a good debate about movies, popculture and international politics or societal issues. But I also love to cuddle up with a good book, going out to filmfestivals, taking more or less care of my plants or hunting bargains at the fleamarket. Sometimes I like to chill at Humboldhain with a beer and watch the sunset or I go out and grab a gin tonic at WILMA Bar. Also I like cooking or just having a chill movie night together :)

so first of all I am just looking for FLINTA* person, since there are just a couple of experiences I made with cis-men that I am not willing to relive in my own 4 walls. Especially important is for me that you are a good communicator, so if there is anything that bothers you, please come up to me and we can find a solution for it! Other than that I would like you to actively engage in the appartment, because I dont want to play someones mum and keep reminding you of doing common househould chores. Unfortunately we live in ground floor which means we dont profit from people under us heating. So it's quite important that we put of the radiator when we are not around and just open the window 2-3 times a day for like 5-10minutes (Stoßlüften idk whats that in Englisch^^), otherwise the gas bill will be crazy high again and me and my student budget would love to avoid that! But also we had mold so just keeping it off is also no option ;(
I am not really used to sharing groceries but I dont mind if you take some of my stuff and just replace it or tell me so I know whats still there and I can plan. Stuff that we commonly use I would suggest to have a tricoun/splitwise account so we have an overview and keep the expenses equal.
The last subrent was unfortunately not very attentive with this and overall not really independent or mindful, that's why I put such an emphasis on all of those formalia here, since I realised this is a bare minimum basis for me in order to live well together with somebody. Besides that I am a rather chill person.
Since I have the bigger room, you are welcome to do yoga in it when I am not around or just ask me when I am there. Also I installed a screen for movie nights but my projector is a bit weak^^ so if you happen to have one that would be amazing!
PS: German is my first language but I am just a bit too lazy to write 2 texts
