Hi! Our flatmate Bri is going to stay at her parents home in Hawaii for 4 month. Thats why we are looking for a friendly, open minded and easy going man or woman to stay in her nice room. Your new flatmates will be Toni (32) and Jonas (30). We both love electronic music and enjoy the amazing city here in Berlin.
The building is from 1903 and the flat was renovated in 2016. The kitchen is only 1.5 years old and we have everything you’ll need to feel comfortable. The wooden floor throughout creates a unique atmosphere in the flat too. The room you would be staying in is 20,5 sqm and has everything included such as, close rack, desk, bed, and cube organizer for your clothes. Our home is our peaceful place that we come back to unwind and relax. We’re all busy throughout the week so having a calm place to come back to is important to us.
As soon the rent freeze (Mietendeckel) will take effect in december 2020 the rent for the room will get reduced around 100 Euro.

From the S-Bahn Station "Schöneweide" (1 km away) you find your way easily to wherever you want to go in Berlin (12min Ostkreuz, 10min Neukölln, 20min Alexanderplatz). In the forest „Königsheide“ (300m away) you will find perfect conditions for running, getting lost through the many paths and taking a stroll along the river. There is also a nice landscape park only 500m away with a beach volleyball field and basketball courts. In the front of the flat is a tram station as well as bus stops. A „Späti“ and a burger restaurant is right downstairs and a doner place across the street. On the next block there is a cinema with a good mix between arthouse movies and blockbusters. If you like asian food your belly is going to be very happy with a visit to the vietnamese restaurant down the street. We also have sushi and greek food nearby. In our neighbourhood you find bakeries, a pharmacy, Sparkasse and many supermarkets such as REWE, Netto and Aldi.
We all like to live in a WG where we share a bit of our lives and have a good time together. They’re always moments of great deep conversations in the kitchen, fun outings together to Sisyphos or just exploring a new part of Berlin we all haven’t seen before. However, we all respect each others space and the flat is big enough to have the privacy you need.
Transparency is very important to us. The rent of your room is calculated fair by square meter. The additional costs for energy, internet etc. is shared together. The kitchen comes with a dishwasher and the bathroom is fully equipped including a washing machine.
The room is ready for you to move in! There is a desk, bed w/ sheets and pillow, clothes rack and cube organizer for clothes etc. There are a few plants in the room that we kindly ask you to water once every two weeks (they’re pretty chill). We also take turns cleaning the kitchen and bathroom every week, so you’ll only have to clean once every 3 weeks :)
