We are a 3 person flat share in total , with Kitchen, bathroom and 2 other bedrooms in addition to 'yours' :) . There is also a small dog in the apartment.
The flat is sunny, quiet and in a great location: The flat has wooden floors and is alt- bau so has high ceilings. The windows in the apartment face to the East and West so it gets a lot of sunlight. There will be a Queen size bed and mattress ( 160x200cm) and a hanging rail, the room is partly furnished.
The location is perfect- bergmannkiez. 30 seconds walk to the UBahn, 4 parks and canals nearby, lots of restaurants and cafes, bookshops and libraries nearby
If you don't know the local neighbourhood, google 'Bergmannkiez'- the surrounding streets are full of cafe's, coffee shops, restaurants, galleries and vintage shops, but still has a residential feel.
The other two flatmates you will be living with: hi!
We're both positive people, liberal, and have loads of experience living in shared communities (of 2-8 people). Like to laugh, easygoing, expressive and conscientious. One PhD student in health funding and one teacher.
We do things socially but both of us also work hard in the week and get a lot done- so please note: this isn't a party or afterparty flat.
The vibe in the flat is very calm and relaxed in terms of atmosphere - To keep it nice for everyone, we are organised about cleaning and tidiness. (Its important to us that whoever joins takes that seriously.) ...We don't leave piles of our own dirty dishes in the sink, but we also take the initiative to wash up if we see someone else has forgotten a cup or something. If we see the toilet paper, soap or coffee is about to run out, we replace it *before* it happens. This balance has worked well for us so far. There is a cleaning rota that is followed.
The room is available from 1st September 2023. The price that does not change is 550euro for the room and then the bills, we split. ( around 60 each). Please note: we will start viewings *this weekend* 5th and 6th August.
