Spacious (the room has a floor space of 42m2) and bright room with large windows facing West and balcony access. The room comes furnished with a double bed, large wardrobe and lounge chairs. A desk is available upon request.
The balcony faces the street and is shared with the room next to this one. Great place to sit in the evenings!
U6 /U7 Mehringdamm is right outside the door and U1 Hallesches Tor is about 10 minute walk away too. Bus stops are around the corner so it's a great location to get to other parts of the city from with public transport.
There are a lot of good places to eat close by - Bergmannstraße has a lot of restaurants and both Mustafa's Gemüse Kebab and Curry36 are directly opposite. Rewe, Edeka and Netto supermarkets are all a 5-minute walk away. Couple of nice bars just around the corner too.
Tempelhof is also close and so is Viktoria Park; both are great for going for walks or runs.
Neighbourhood is lively, but not as crazy as the centre of Kreuzberg.
There are four other lovely ladies living in the house - all are of the creative type (writers and designers), clean, respectful and absolutely lovely people. We love a bit of chat, although we do all respect each other's space. As we all have different working schedules there's generally no queues for the bathroom in the mornings, and as the apartment is large (178 m2) we never get in each other's way.
The apartment has a good kitchen (with a washing machine, dish washer, oven, microwave), a separate lounge with dining table, one washroom with shower, washbasin and toilet and one separate toilet with washbasin.
Plenty of storage in the house - and with some extra storage space in the basement.
As it's a large WG we won't be taking in any couples.
Viewings will be held on 12 & 13 March - if you wish to see the property before that can be arranged under special circumstances.
