This advert is for a lovely, plant-filled sunny room 5 minute away from Bergmannkiez in Kreuzberg. I am going away to visit my family in October for a month, so the room will be yours then. You would be sharing the flat with 4 lovely flatmates, who are all German but have a variety of linguistic capabilities as you can see from the description :)
I have a bunch of plants in my room that would need watering one time a week maximum -- they are rather low maintenance, but if you like plants that is a plus. If you like playing piano or bouldering, that is also a plus :)
We also have a huge terrace with a bench swing <3
The flat is situated right next to the Jewish Museum/5 minutes from Berlinische Galerie. There is a bus stop right outside the door for the Jewish Museum -- otherwise, Mehringdamm or Hallesches Tor U-Bahn are about 5 minutes away by bike. Grocery/other shops are also extremely close. The area is about a 5 minute bike ride from Bergmannkiez.
We live rather communally, and would definitely prefer someone who also has more of a communal tendency for the month. Of course, this doesn't mean you don't have the option for your private space! But it does mean that we do share costs for food/other items in the flat, so if you want, you have the option to chip in the flat costs for groceries and then also share in also.
We pay about 50 - 100 EUR each the month for shared flat costs. This is optional for you, but if you want to join in it is more than welcome and appreciated :)
