Hello lovely people!
I will be going on holidays for one month from 18th September to 18th October and am looking for someone to rent the beautiful room I call home and to please keep my plants alive for this month (it's not much work, I promise!).
The room is 15,5 square meters and comes fully furnished, with clean sheets, space in the wardrobe, a towel for you to use during your stay, etc. Everything you need :) Since pictures say more than a thousand words, I’ve attached some pictures of what the room and the flat looks like.
Our home is right in the middle of the Wrangelkiez. The location is perfect! Right next to Schlesisches Tor, close to public transport (U1/now bus), the Spree, Kreuz-köln and Görlitzer Park. We love our little Kiez here and hope you will too. We’re a couple hundred meters away from from the corner of Schlesisches Tor, but as soon as you leave the hustle of the main street and enter Oppelner Str, you enter our quiet neighbourhood and a whole different vibe.
There are so many great places just a short walk or bike ride away. As a house, we often hang out at the Landwehr Kanal, go to play table tennis at Haus Bethanien, or go out for food or drinks in the neighbourhood.
Our Hinterhof courtyard also has some pallet chairs where people from the building can hang out for drinks or hop out for a smoke. (No smoking inside, but we're ground floor - so it's super easy to get out to the hinterhof for a smoke if you want)
The timing is a bit strange, as both my housemate and I are going on vacation together, and our third housemate will be finishing his internship at the end of October and then moving back to Munich, sooo unfortunately we're not sure yet who exactly you will be sharing the WG with for the whole month. BUT we'd like to think we have a good feeling for people, so either way you'll be living with carefully selected, kind, interesting, and welcoming people. If you're looking with a friend right now - possibly you can rent both of the rooms that will be up for sublet for this month. Let's talk :)
We were the first ones to move into this apartment after it was renovated last summer and we've invested a lot of time, money and love to make this space a home. So, I'd like to find someone who's tidy, respectful and caring for the space (so, this is not a party pad for the month). And also someone who can please water four of my plants while I'm away (just one small cup of water once in the middle of your stay).
The details:
Rent is 502 for the month. And deposit is 1000, which you'll get back as soon as I'm back. Sorry, I know it's shit having a deposit for one month... but as I said, it's a newly renovated space and has lots of things that we've brought from our travels or have invested love into collecting - so we want to protect that. Just be a normal, decent, respectful human with the space and you'll be fine :)
The place is available from the 18th of September to the 18th of October. So just write me a little message about yourself if this sounds like it could be a good fit for you.
