Hi! I am going out of town for work and tragically have to leave this AMAZING Bergmannkiez flat for the summer. The room has a double bed, ample closet space, and a desk for a work-from-home setup. The room and apartment face the courtyard, so it's super quiet despite being close to everything. Big windows (altbau!), great light, really no complaints!
*Will post pictures tomorrow, but happy to show around eager people on a video call tonight if you are very serious*
The apartment is on the 2nd floor of a class Berlin altbau. Huge windows, high ceilings, exposed brick wall, etc. The apartment has a washer (and dryer!), full kitchen with a washing machine and microwave (a rarity!), and everything you need to feel right at home for the summer.
Location is perfect. In the quiet part of Bergmannkiez. Near the U-Bahn Gneisenaustrasse. Lots of restaurants, bars, parks (Gleisdreieck, Victoria Park, Hasenheide, Tempelhof!) right nearby for those who like greenery!
You will be sharing the flat with one woman, a 28-year-old American. She works full-time and will be gone for most of the summer, so you will essentially have it to yourself ~75% of the time! If both of you like each other and it works for the landlord, there is a possibility of staying after August 31. Looking for people who work full-time and like a healthy mix of work and play =)
I'm leaving Berlin this weekend and looking for someone ASAP (hence the rushed post without photos). Ideally you are are in your late 20s, work regular full-time hours, and are a person who will respect the flat and your roommate. If you're interested, message me and I can give you a video tour. If you like what you see (and I like you), I'll invite you over for coffee and we'll talk logistics =)
