I am giving up my beloved room in a 4 people flat in Mitte/PBerg since I am moving to my own apartment. The apartment is quite unique since it spans the 4th and 5th floor while being connected with a staircase inside the apartment:
4th floor:
- 2 bedrooms
- kitchen (with small balcony)
- bathroom
5th floor:
- 2 bedrooms
- bathroom (with laundry machine)
- balcony
So each bathroom is only shared between two people.
The room itself is quite spacious with over 20 sqm and there is plenty space for a bed, couch, wardrobe and desk (which are all included with the flat). The room is also right at a big balcony that is shared with the other roommate on the 5th floor. From there you can see the TV Tower and catch the sun in the morning until early afternoon. There is also a barbecue for summer.
The room is very bright being located on the top floor of the building.
Lage
Location is great:
- U-Bahn/Tram Bernauer Straße (U8 + M10): 1 Minute Walk
- S-Bahn Nordbahnhof: 15 Minutes Walk
- Eberswalder Straße: 10 Minutes Walk
- Mauerpark: 10 Minutes Walk
Rewe is 10 minutes walk and there is a Kebab shop downstairs in the same building (for those Sunday nights with empty fridge)
The flat consists of three other roommates who are all young professionals and partly work from home. We speak English in the apartment (flatmates are from France, China and South Korea) and like to have a drink from time to time or cook dinner.
We all have our own lives but still enjoy each others company.
So no student/party flat.
