Für die Zeit vom 1. November bis zum 1. Januar wird in meiner WG ein Zimmer frei. Die Wohnung ist ein Träumchen: ein heller Dachgeschoss-Neubau mitten im Herzen Berlins. Die Wohnung hat drei Zimmer, und zwei davon benutze ich, das andere meine Mitbewohnerin Laura. Im Frühling kannst du auf dem großen, ruhig gelegenen Balkon der Wohnung die Sonne genießen.
Du hast ein Schlafzimmer, und ein getrenntes Wohnzimmer, mit Schreibtisch, Bürostuhl, Couch und einem kompletten Homeoffice-Setup. Es gibt außerdem einen trockenen Keller, den du benutzen kannst. Es gibt einen Fahrstuhl, du musst also nicht jedes Mal Treppen laufen, wenn du nach Hause kommst.

For the period from November 1 to January 1, a room is available in my shared apartment. The apartment is a dream: a bright attic new building in the heart of Berlin. The apartment has three rooms, and two of them I use, the other one my roommate Laura. In spring, you can enjoy the sun on the apartment's large, quiet balcony.
You have a bedroom, and a separate living room, with a desk, office chair, couch, and a full home office setup. There's also a dry basement you can use. There is an elevator, so you don't have to walk stairs every time you come home.
Die Gartenstraße ist eine verkehrsberuhigte Seitenstraße der Torstraße. Hier ist man voll im Zentrum, bekommt aber vom Straßenlärm kaum etwas mit. Für Sportliche praktisch: Direkt gegenüber liegt das Schwimmbad Mitte "James Simon".
U Rosenthaler Platz, U Orienburger Tor, S Nordbahnhof und S Oranienburger Straße liegen je 5-10 Minuten zu Fuß von der Wohnung entfernt. Damit hast du eine optimale Anbindung an die U8, U6, S1, S2, S25, S26, M1, M5, M8, M10, 12, und der Bus 142 hält quasi vor der Haustür. Du kommst in max. 30 Minuten in jeden Winkel der Stadt. Wenn du mit dem Fahrrad über die Torstraße fährst, gelangst du direkt auf eine Fahrradstraße, die dich quer durch Mitte führt.
Von Fusion-Asia-Food über israelische Pockets bis zum Döner findest du alle erdenklichen Restaurants. In einer Bars treffen sich die Reichen und Schönen, gleich auf der anderen Straßenseite ist eine Sportbar -- angenehmer Berliner Mix eben. Es gibt im Viertel mehr Cafés, Bars und Restaurants, als ich aufzählen kann.
Einkaufen kannst du im Rewe in der Invalidenstraße, oder im Edeka auf der Torstraße. Daneben gibt es Bäckereien, Metzger und einen Bioladen am Nordbahnhof.

Gartenstraße is a traffic-calmed side street of Torstraße. Here you are right in the center, but hardly notice the street noise. Convenient for sports enthusiasts: Directly opposite is the swimming pool Mitte "James Simon".
U Rosenthaler Platz, U Orienburger Tor, S Nordbahnhof and S Oranienburger Straße are each 5-10 minutes walk from the apartment. This gives you an optimal connection to the U8, U6, S1, S2, S25, S26, M1, M5, M8, M10, 12, and the bus 142 stops virtually at the front door. You can get to any corner of the city in max. 30 minutes. If you ride your bike along Torstraße, you'll get directly onto a bicycle lane that takes you right through Mitte.
From fusion Asian food to Israeli pockets to kebab, you'll find every restaurant imaginable. A bar is where the rich and famous meet, and just across the street is a sports bar -- a pleasant Berlin mix. There are more cafes, bars and restaurants in the neighborhood than I can list.
Die Wohnung teilst du dir zusammen mit Laura. Laura ist berufstätig, arbeitet vier Tage die Woche und steht an diesen Tagen gegen 7 Uhr auf. In ihrer Freizeit ist Laura viel unterwegs, macht Yoga, Pilates und geht gerne Feiern. Die WG selbst ist ruhig, Party machen wir nur auswärts.
Du passt hier gut rein, wenn du unter der Woche einen geregelten Tagesablauf hast. Wir putzen jede Woche halten Küche und Bad immer sauber. Optimal wäre es, wenn du auch Deutsch sprichst.

You share the apartment with Laura. Laura has a job, works four days a week and gets up around 7 a.m. on those days. In her free time, Laura travels a lot, does yoga, Pilates and likes to go out partying. The WG itself is quiet, we only party out.
You'll fit in well here if you have a regular routine during the week. We clean the kitchen and bathroom every week. It would be ideal if you also speak German.
