Furnished Room in Neukölln/Kreuzberg near Maybachufer available in February (4.2.-8.3.)!

Das Zimmer ist vollständig möbliert, ca. 16 qm groß, hat zwei große Fenster in den Innenhof, wodurch es sehr ruhig ist & man keinerlei Straßenlärm selbst bei geöffnetem Fenster hört. Da die Fenster in Richtung Westen sind, ist das Zimmer auch recht hell. An dem Zimmer ist auch der Balkon der Wohnung. In dem Zimmer sind zwei große Regale, in denen genug Platz frei sein wird, sodass du deine eigenen Klamotten & Stuff unterbringen kannst. Darüber hinaus ist in dem Zimmer noch ein großer geräumiger Schreibtisch, eine Couch, ein 1,60m breites Bett sowie ein Plattenspieler und zwei richtig gute auch über WLAN steuerbare Boxen.

Die komplette Wohnung wurde 2021 komplett neu renoviert und ist also in einem ziemlich guten Zustand (neue Küche, Fenster, Türen, Böden, Fliesen etc.).
Ein kleiner Nachteil dieser Wohnung ist, dass wir keine Zentral- oder Etagenheizung haben. Die Zimmer haben beide jeweils einen großen Ofen mit dem wir im Winter mit Holzbriketts heizen (ja, sowas ist 2023 noch erlaubt...). D. h. dass man nicht einfach einen Regler auf oder zu drehen kann, sondern erst ein Feuer im Ofen anmachen und dann regelmäßig ca. einmal in der Stunde Holzbriketts nachlegen muss, um den Raum warm zu bekommen/halten. Nachteile: Es dauert ca. eine halbe Stunde bis es richtig warm wird. Vorteile: Die romantische cozy Stimmung wenn der Ofen an ist. Im Bad und in der Küche haben wir jeweils eine elektrische Heizung mit Zeitschaltuhr, die im Winter morgens und abends automatisch angeht und außerhalb dieser Zeiten bei Bedarf auch manuell eingeschaltet werden kann.
Insgesamt muss man sich am Anfang ein bisschen daran gewöhnen mit dem Ofen und den Holzbriketts zu heizen. Nach einer Weile ist es aber kein wirkliches Problem mehr :):)

The room is fully furnished, approx. 16 square meters in size, has two large windows facing the inner courtyard, which makes it very quiet & you can't hear any street noise even when the window is open. As the windows face west, the room is also quite bright. There is also a balcony adjacent to the room. There are two large shelves in the room where you will have enough space to store your own clothes & stuff. In addition, there is a large spacious desk, a couch, a 1.60m wide bed as well as a record player and two really good speakers that can also be controlled via WLAN.

The entire apartment was completely renovated in 2021 and is therefore in pretty good condition (new kitchen, windows, doors, floors, tiles, etc.).
A small disadvantage of this apartment is that we have no central or floor heating. The rooms each have a large stove with which we heat with wood briquettes in winter (yes, this is still allowed in 2023...). This means that you can't simply turn a knob on or off, but first have to light a fire in the stove and then regularly add wood briquettes about once an hour to get/keep the room warm. Disadvantages: It takes about half an hour to get really warm Pros: The romantic cozy atmosphere when the stove is on. We have electric heating with a timer in the bathroom and kitchen, which comes on automatically in the morning and evening in winter and can also be switched on manually outside these times if necessary.
Overall, you have to get used to heating with the stove and wood briquettes at first. But after a while it's really no problem :):)
