Hey I'm Karl, I offer a room for 1 person for 1 month, close to the trendy side of Neukölln.
The room is furnished with:
- Queen size bed, the mattress is memory foam, less than 1 year old. The picture with the bed blankets is referential but if you need bed-sheets, blankets and towels, I can provide with some.
- There's a table, a couple of seats, a vertical shelf, 2 night table/shelves and 4 small table lamps
- There's also one white wardrobe (with a mirror) which you can use. There's also another wardrobe but that's filled with stuff so you cannot use it.
- The window of the room faces the inner-yard so most of the time is pretty quiet.
The street is right next to Weserstraße, many cafés, bars, even a Kino (Wolf) is just walking distance. Griessmühle club is also very close. Closest metro is U7 Rathaus Neukölln, bus 104 (goes directly to either ZOB or S Treptower Park) or M41 (goes directly to Hauptbahnhof) are even closer.
Despite being close to Weserstr, my street is actually quite silent, we have no noisy neighbours as well.
Supermarkets such as Nahkauf or Lidl are also very close.
These I'd like to make clear
* NON smokers only (even if you go to smoke downstairs, still you'll come back stinking like an ashtray, so NOOOOO smokers, breaking this rule means you're out). Other type of smoke that is NOT related to tobacco, we can discuss and possibly share if you know what I mean ;)
* Vegetarians or Vegans ONLY. Not a piece of any dead animal is allowed in the kitchen.
* No pets. I love animals but unfortunately they are not allowed here.
This is a residential area, so you're expected to know the basic German law about noise after 22h and on weekends/holidays, follow building rules about garbage disposal etc. You're expected to keep the shared spaces (toilet and kitchen) clean. You're expected to keep the bedroom clean, not that I will check it of course, but note that you'll get a nearly new bed and mattress, so you should be responsible for keeping it neat. Eating in the room is not recommended, you'll have the kitchen for it. Eating in the room might leave permanent odours so please always use the kitchen for it.
I barely cook, so if you like to cook 90% of the time the kitchen is yours. Therefore usually we don't share kitchen expenses so each keep its own stuff.
***IMPORTANT***: the room is rented for 1 person, I understand that occasionally a friend of yours might crash at your room after a massive party at Berghain but aside of these occasional things, no other person is allowed to stay regularly at the room. So sorry, no boy/girl-friends becoming 'regular crashers'. Obviously during the day, you can have visitors any time.
*****IMPORTANT*****: Illegal downloads are not allowed, I guess you already know by now about the infamous German fines for downloading films or music or any P2P,. Streaming is fine.
If you send a message, show me that you're read the conditions otherwise I won't bother to reply. There are too many requests people send randomly without thoroughly reading the offer.
P.S. If you seriously love EDM and/or board games, that's a BIG plus.
