Ich vermiete mein wunderschönes Altbauzimmer (ca. 23qm) für den Zeitraum 04.10.-23.11., da ich selber Anfang Oktober in eine eigene Wohnung ziehe. Das Zimmer befindet sich im 1. OG zum Hof, ist also wunderbar ruhig zum Schlafen und zum Pause von der Großstadt machen. Hohe Wände, Stuck und Parkett von 1903.
Wichtig: da ich selber ausziehe, wird das Zimmer recht leer und für Dich zum frei gestalten sein. Ich lasse die Gardine, den Schreibtisch und eine Gästematratze mit weichem Bettzeug da. Für den Rest kannst du deine Fantasie frei spielen lassen.

I sublet my wonderful room in one of the typical Berlin flats (high ceilings, old wooden floor) for 7 weeks (October 4th-November 23rd), since I will move to my own place early October. The room is on the 1st floor towards the yard, hence it's beautifully quiet and perfect to take a rest from the big city bustle.
Important: Since I'll move out, the room will be much emptier than on the pictures. I'll leave the curtain, the desk and a mattress with pillow and blanket for you, the remaining room can be designed however you want.
Die Weichselstraße ist eine der beliebtesten Straßen im nördlichen Neukölln und bietet Coffee Shops, Bars, türkische Bäcker und Metzger und diverse Essmöglichkeiten. In 5min bist Du bei der U Rathaus Neukölln (U7) und den Neukölln-Arcaden mit zahlreichen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Auch die M41 und U8 sind fußläufig gut erreichbar. Der Landwehrkanal ist am Ende der Straße in 10min zu erreichen, das Tempelhofer Feld in ca. 15min. Ich habe die letzten 4 Jahre diese Ecke der Stadt geliebt und kann sie von Herzen jedem/jeder Entdecker/in empfehlen.

The Weichselstr. is one of the most popular streets in Northern Neukölln, it offers many coffee shops, bars, Turkish bakeries and butchers and various places to grab a good bite. You are at the U-Bahn stop Rathaus Neukölln (U7) within 5 minutes as well as the Neukölln Arcades (a shopping mall). Also the bus M41 and the U8 are closeby in walking distance. The canal is at the end of the street (10min by foot), the Tempelhofer Feld is only 15min by foot away. It's a gorgeous area of the city and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves to explore.
Du wohnst für die 7 Wochen noch zum Teil mit einem Mitbewohner (David, 29 Jahre, HRler in einer Agentur) und einer Mitbewohnerin (Franzi, 33 Jahre, Kinderärztin in der Charité) zusammen. Da wir uns gerade gemeinsam vom WG-Leben abnabeln und jeder in eine eigene Wohnung zieht, wirst du David noch eher am Anfang erleben und Franzi bis zum 01.11. In den November-Wochen hast Du die Wohnung für dich oder teilst sie ggf. mit einer weiteren Person.

You'll spend the 7 weeks partly with two roommates (David, 29, HR at an agency and Franzi, 33, kid's doctor at a clinic). Since we all dare to move on from student life and have found our own places, you'll probably only see David at the beginning of your stay and Franzi moves out on November 1st. The last 3 weeks, you'll have the place to yourself or will share it with one other person.
