Hello beautiful people of Berlin.
I'm renting out my old room in a shared flat. The room is quite big, around 25 square meters (although I never really measured it), with a new nice wooden floor (real wood) and your own big balcony. The room comes completely furnished. You will have access to a furnished kitchen with everything you need to cook and a spacious bathroom with a big bathtub, a washing machine and a dryer.
There's a total number of three rooms. One is occupied by my lovely flatmate Mariam who is just done studying and moving her way into the professional life. By keeping the third room empty, we increase the rent a little, but we win in space and quality of life.
The flat is located in a vibrant part of Neukölln, in a 10 minutes walk from the beautiful Schillerkiez and the abandoned airport Tempelhofer Feld. Near Sameheads, Klunkerkranich and many other nice bars and stores. 2-4 minutes walking distance from 5 different supermarkets! The flat is very well connected, close to the Ubahn Karl-Marx-Str and Rathaus Neukölln.
The room is available for at least a few months, but most likely it will be available indefinitely. I am at the moment crashing at my girlfriend's and looking for our own place, and hoping to find something long term soon.
Mariam and I had a pretty chill flat vibe, cooking for each other, chatting and hanging out often.
In the flat lives also a cat. Ideally you love cats and are comfortable around them. We don't want you to take responsibility for the animal, but it's a living being and deserves to live with someone who they can feel comfortable with. If you want to apply, please make sure you mention the cat and include a nice personal message. Doesn't need to actually be too long, I will be happy to meet you in person.
