Hi prospective flatmate!
We're leaving this beautiful apartment and we're looking for a friendly couple to take our place in this friendly WG.
The room is bright, south facing, and has a roomy balcony. The large and heavy curtains will also let you sleep till late :)
The room is currently furnished (as seen in photos), but the furniture belongs to a former flatmate that is in no hurry to retrieve it. On the other hand, if you have your own furniture or would like anything removed, that could be done easily.
The apartment is a renovated rooftop, and therefore gets great amounts of sunlight through all sides. Very little noise from the already quiet street reaches it. The Sonnenallee S-Bahn is one block away, as well as two discounter supermarkets. Larger supermarkets at a 10 minute walk distance.
The neuköllner schifffahrtskanal (which then turns into the Landwehrkanal) is 3 blocks away. Lots of cafes, bars, eateries and bakeries are sprinkled throughout the neighborhood.
The flat is ideal for two couples. It has two independent rooms, and two fully equipped bathrooms. Many plants are scattered throughout the apartment.
The kitchen has all one could need. There is a small common storage room in the flat. A large basement storage space comes in handy for longer-term storage of bulky items.
WG life:
Your flatmates will be a friendly couple from Germany-France and Mexico-Chile, both fluent in German/English/Spanish.
We like to have our meals and spend time together in the common areas whenever possible, although work and other activities also mean that sometimes we won't see each other much. Our approach to communal life has been to share as much as possible, while trying to keep things balanced.
We'd love to meet you in person to try to find a great match for a happy house :)
