Your newly furnished room with direct access to your private bathroom is located in the popular Prenzlauer Berg district.
The 18sqm room with bathroom is located in a 100sqm four years old apartment on the 2nd floor. The apartment is ideal for living together with two or three people. The bedrooms are separated by an approximately 35 square meter common area where you can chat or cook together. Or you can just chill on the balcony or sofa. The common area does not have a television but does have books and high-quality music players. This is intended to ensure both exchange and peace. The kitchen and the entire apartment are equipped to a very high standard, so that instructions are given when moving in and must be followed. The apartment primarily appeals to students or working people. That doesn't mean it can't be social, but it's not suitable for after-hours or spontaneous parties.
In addition, the rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows that can be opened, but smoking is ONLY permitted on the shared balcony.

LOCATION
If the in-house landscaped courtyard isn't enough for you, you can be in nature in just 5 minutes by bike. Thanks to the allotment garden (hidden), this area is not densely built up, so you can always take a look at the sky. Not only the nearby railway embankment with a nature trail is suitable for jogging, but also the route to the legendary MAUERPARK. Which can be reached in just 10 minutes at a leisurely walking pace and is the main attraction in BERLIN, especially on Sundays. It's just as quick and easy to get to Arminplatz and the Gleimviertel, which are home to many restaurants, coffee shops and bars.

Grocery shopping is easy in this neighborhood. The house is directly adjacent to a well-stocked Lidl supermarket. On Schönhausser Allee, which is within walking distance, you can find almost everything your heart desires.

TRANSPORTATION
Anyone who wants or needs to escape the district despite all these options is very well connected here.
The Bornholmerstraße S-Bahn stop is about 5 minutes away and takes you quickly to every corner of the city. For example, in 20 minutes to the main train station.
Two minutes from the house you can also use the M50 or M13, which will take you to Boxhagener Platz in Friedrichshain, for example. And if you want to explore all of this by bike, you can park your bike safely here.

Normally I'm very outgoing and go to electro parties and festivals. But at the moment I'm very busy after returning to Germany and wouldn't enjoy afterhours or spontaneous weekly parties in the flat. But I don't rule out welcoming guests and having a cosy get-together. I even advocate it.

I work and study on the side. Therefore, I prefer between tenants who are in a very similar life situation. This doesn't mean that I wouldn't want to cook together or do other leisure activities - quite the opposite :)

In my life I have already lived with both women and men as well as in mixed constellations. However, I always had better experiences with women than with men. That's why I prefer a female flatmate. But that doesn't mean that I exclude men on principle. It just has to be a damn good fit.

I am a teacher and father of two children. In both cases I am not strict. I have lived in Mexico for the last three years. My two young children are still in Mexico. Therefore, I always rent for a limited period of time and only until the respective school term. Don't be surprised if you come across children's things in the flat :)

As I already mentioned, the flat is furnished to a high standard. Unfortunately, my interim tenants didn't attach much importance to it, so I'm currently still busy with renovation and insurence work. To prevent this from happening again and to make it easier for us to clean, we don't wear shoes in the flat, for example. Further care instructions will be given when you move in and I very much hope that my next flatmate will follow them. However, I would recommend taking out liability insurance just in case.
