Die Maisonette-Wohnung liegt mitten im schönen Prenzlauer Berg. Mein Mitbewohner und die Küche sich in der ersten Etage und mein Zimmer und das Bad befinden sich in der zweiten. Das Zimmer ist unglaublich gemütlich und von der Größe vollkommen ausreichend. Es gibt ein Doppelbett, Schreibtisch, großer Fernseher mit riesiger DVD Kollektion (richtig schön old school), Sessel mit großem Tisch und den zweiten Flur habe ich zu einem begehbaren Kleiderschrank umfunktioniert. Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet mit Geschirrspülmaschine, Mikrowelle, Toaster, Wasserkocher, ... Im Bad gibt es es eine Badewanne und Waschmaschine.
The apartment lies right in the beautiful Prenzlauer Berg. My roommate lives on the first floor where you can also find the kitchen and my room and the bathroom is on the second floor.
The room is equipped with a double bed, a work desk, a big TV (and almost one thousand DVD's, really old school, I know), A comfy armchair where you can read and just enjoy being in Berlin.
In fünf Minuten ist man an der Straßenbahnhaltestelle die einen innerhalb von 15 Minuten zum Alexander Platz bringt. Weiterhin braucht man nur 7 Minuten zum S-Bhf. Prenzlauer Allee wo man mit der Ringbahn eigentlich überall hinkommt. Den gleichen Weg muss man auch zur M10 zurücklegen, die bringt einen entweder zur Eberswalder Straße oder Warschauer zwei weitere Knotenpunkte Berlins.
You'll have to walk five minutes to get to the tram station where you can go directly to the Alexanderplatz. It takes seven minutes to get to the train station Prenzlauer Allee where you can take the Ringbahn which pretty much takes you everywhere. It's the same distance to the M10 which will take you to the Eberswalder Straße oder Warschauer.
Mein Mitbewohner ist Kanadier und wir haben uns während des Studiums kennen gelernt. Er arbeitet Vollzeit und ist auch sonst eher von der ruhigen Sorte aber jeder Zeit für ein Schnack zu haben, sehr sauber und ein netter Typ.
My roommate is Canadian and we met during our Master's. He works full time and is a rather quiet fellow but always up for a chat, tidy and really nice.
