2er WG at Volkspark Friedrichshain

Die Wohnung liegt im 1. Stock an der Danziger Straße direkt am Volkspark Friedrichshain. Den Park vor der Haustür zu haben ist besonders im Sommer Luxus – dafür ist die Straße eher nervig (laut). Das bekommt man aber eigentlich nur auf dem Balkon mit und hat den Vorteil, dass wir auch mal laut sein können, ohne das die Nachbar*innen auf die Idee kommen sich zu beschweren. Die Lage ist ansonsten ruhig und das Kiez eher unspektakulär. Es gibt einige Supermärkte, Cafés, Spätis und Restaurants um die Ecke und die Wohnung ist top angebunden. Es sind 100m bis zur Station Kniprodestr./Danziger Str. wo M10 und 200er fahren. Bis zur Ringbahnstation Landsberger Allee sind es 15 min zu Fuß, mit der Tram ca. 10 min. In unter 15 min erreicht man mit dem 200er oder Fahrrad den Alex und in ca. 10 min mit der M10 die Eberswalder Str. im Prenzlauer Berg oder das Frankfurter Tor in Friedrichshain. Ich bin selber viel mit dem Bike unterwegs und würde sagen, dass man innerhalb von einer halben Stunde von Neukölln bis Moabit alles Wichtige easy erreichen kann.

The flat is on the first floor on Danziger Straße, right next to Volkspark Friedrichshain. Having the park nearby is a luxury, especially in summer - the street is rather annoying(ly loud) tho. But you only really notice it on the balcony and it has the advantage that we can be loud sometimes as well without the neighbours going to complain. The location is otherwise quiet and the neighbourhood rather unspectacular. There are several supermarkets, cafés, bars and restaurants around the corner and the flat is very well connected. It is 100m to the Kniprodestr./Danziger Str. station, where the M10 tram and 200 buses leave. It is a 15-minute walk to the Landsberger Allee Ringbahn station, it takes less than 15 minutes to get to Alex by bus or by bike, and about 10 minutes by M10 to Eberswalder Str. in Prenzlauer Berg or Frankfurter Tor in Friedrichshain. I cycle a lot myself and would say that you can easily reach everything important from Neukölln to Moabit within half an hour.

Zur WG: Ich wohne seit fast vier Jahren in wechselnden WG-Konstellationen und seit drei Jahren in dieser Wohnung. In der Zeit habe ich herausgefunden, was für mich in einer WG wichtig ist: Offene Kommunikation, Rücksicht auf Privatsphäre, Respekt und ein humanes Level an Sauberkeit und Ordentlichkeit sind für mich ein Muss. Ich bin kein Fan von Zweck-WGs und würd mir wünschen, dass man menschlich gut klarkommt; wir mal zusammen kochen oder was unternehmen. Klar, das ergibt sich eh von selbst, aber es wäre nice, wenn du dafür offen bist. Deshalb ist es mir wichtig, dass du bewusst in eine WG ziehen möchtest und schon ein bisschen Erfahrung damit hast. Gerne würde ich auch weiter meine Friends einladen, ab und zu Gäste*innen hosten und ein bis zwei Mal im Jahr ne WG-Party schmeißen – am liebsten zusammen. Ansonsten ist die Wohnung aber auch nicht besonders hellhörig und groß genug um sich auch mal zurückzuziehen.

Zu mir: Ich bin vor fast vier Jahren nach Berlin gezogen, habe zwischendurch ein halbes Jahr in Paris gelebt, bin seit Februar wieder da und fühle mich hier sehr zuhause. Im Moment studiere ich meinen Bachelor in Soziologie und Politik fertig, arbeite nebenbei remote und versuche mein französisch zu verbessern. Ich bin ein neugieriger, aufgeschlossener, offener und politischer Mensch. Ich probiere gerne neue Dinge aus, habe viele Interessen (z.B. Kunst, Geschichte, Design), liebe es neue Orte zu entdecken und bin gerne viel unterwegs – normalerweise mit Freund*innen zusammen in Cafés, Gallerien, Bars, Parks, im Gym, am See, vorm Späti oder auf irgendeinem Dancefloor. Ansonsten koche (manchmal), zeichne, töpfer' oder lese ich (ab und zu), mache Yoga (eher selten, ich bin ehrlich) oder schaue Filme (öfters) und bin immer für nen Espresso (Martini) zu haben.

About living in a shared-flat: I have been living in different shared flat constellations for almost four years and in this flat since three years. During this time, I have found out what is important to me in a shared flat: open communication, consideration for privacy, respect and a humane level of cleanliness and tidiness are a must for me. I'm not a fan of purpose-built flatshares and would like us to get on well together. Of course, that will come up by itself anyway, but it would be nice if you were open to it. That's why it's important to me that you consciously want to move into a shared flat and already have a bit of experience with it. I would also like to continue inviting my friends, host guests from time to time and throw a house party once or twice a year - preferably together. Apart from that, the flat is not very noisy and big enough to retreat from time to time.

About me: I moved to Berlin almost four years ago, lived in Paris for half a year in between, have been back since February and feel very much at home here. At the moment, I'm finishing my Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Politics, working remotely and trying to improve my French. I am a curious, open-minded, outgoing and political person. I like to try new things, have many interests (e.g. art, history, design), I love to discover new places and I like to be out and about a lot - usually with friends in cafés, galleries, bars, parks, at the gym, or a lake, in front of a Späti or on some dancefloor. Otherwise I cook (sometimes), draw, make pottery or read (now and then), do yoga (rather rarely, I'm honest) or watch films (more often) and am always up for an espresso (martini).
