The room is at the front of the apartment, facing onto the street which gets all the sunlight from midday until sunset. It’s a typical Altbau room, with wooden floorboards and beautifully plastered walls. There’s a connecting door to one of the wg bedrooms so it is possible to hear your neighbour’s movements. If interested, some of the furniture could be purchased from our flatmate who's leaving - just ask if interested. The apartment is also on the 4th floor, which means you no longer need that gym membership and the cars from the street we're facing are more quiet.
The apartment is located between Bernauer Str U-Bahn and Rosenthaler Platz U-Bahn, so it’s very easy to get to Alexanderplatz or Gesundbrunnen. In addition, the M8 is at the end of our road which will take you to Nordbahnhof and Hauptbahnhof, whilst the M10 is a 5 minute walk away which will also take you to Hbf or Warschauer Str.
Since we're so close to Rosenthaler Platz, we have easy access to great cafes, bars, and restaurants!
Our WG is made up of 3 awesome people, Jannik (23) a bachelor student in Medientechnik from Kiel, Emmeline (24) a graphic designer from London, and Nuno (26) a business developer from Porto. We’re all very close and love to spend time with each other in evenings after work, whether it’s watching a movie together with face masks (the spa type), or heading to our local bar for drinks with face masks (the corona type).
We're looking for someone who is open, friendly, light-hearted, who wants a long-term apartment and is also working full-time so that we share the same daily rhythm. Also someone who is tidy and clean, and is happy to share the chores around the house to keep the apartment sparkling. We're all fully vaccinated and expect our new flatmate to be too :)
Important: Interviews won't start until 1st February
If this wg sounds like the one for you, we’d love to hear from you! Given that we’ll have a lot of emails, we’d prefer it if you started the message with your favourite emoji 🐙
Can’t wait to hear from you!
Emmeline, Jannik, and Nuno
