Hello! I'm Jack, and I'm renting my room for three months (01.10.22 - 22.12.22) as I'm travelling to the UK for work. Im flexible with dates, and there is a string possibility of renting the room until the end of February. I'm an academic who teaches philosophy at a university.
The room is large, and furnished, and in a beautiful rooftop flat with an amazing view over Berlin. The room has a desk, storage for clothes (rail and shelves)... and an exercise frame!
In addition to the room, there is a kitchen, living room and upstairs home office/workspace that you can make use of too (so you don't only need to stay in your own room).
The kitchen is fully equipped, and the living room has a projector and an AppleTV and sound system for watching movies.
As I say, there is a strong chance to extend your stay beyond the three months.
10119 Berlin, just off of Kastanienallee, and within sight of Zionskirchplatz. The apartment is exactly on the edge of Prenzlauer Berg and Mitte. You have easy access to both districts - Kollwitzkiez is a ten minute walk away, and Torstrasse is five minute walk away too.
There are many shops within a five minute walk (Edeka, Denns, BioCompany), as well as super-nice coffee shops, restaurants, and old-school Berlin bars.
Eberswalderstr U-Bahn is a ten minute walk away, Rosenthaler Platz is a six minute walk in the other direction, and the M1 and M12 stop outside of the apartment.
The street is super quiet.
Sharing with one other person... but looking for a quiet, respectful subletter who will take care of things in my apartment while I am away.
I'd be grateful for someone willing to water and care for my plants!
