Hallo meine Lieben,
Also typisch Berlin eben.
Jil & Miri

Hello my dears,
I am looking for a room to rent for 6 months from May 1st until probably November 27th/28th. After 1.5 wonderful years here in Berlin, I am moving back to my home city.
My room is 16 square meters. The room is rectangular and has a nice window into the inner courtyard. So you wake up with greenery outside the window and no street noise. Parking is also no problem.
The highlight is definitely the large elongated balcony with a storage room with a door. There is also a bathroom with a washing machine, a kitchen with a small dishwasher and everything you need to live :) There is also a large garden behind the house, which we are allowed to use and we have a cellar compartment for ourselves.
The rent is 550€/ month all inclusive.
I'm leaving the furniture (bed, 2 chests of drawers) and would be happy to let you have it too, as I'll probably be moving out of the shared flat completely after the 6 months. But we can talk about it in more detail when we get to know each other. And I'm open to whatever is best for you.
The apartment is on the 3rd floor of an apartment building with a charming old elevator in a quiet street on the edge of Reinickendorf/Wedding.
Aldi is 4 min walk. Just down the street.
Lidl is 10 min away.
Your connections are the subway station Paracelsus Bad and the well-known U8, which goes directly to Mitte. It takes about 13 minutes to walk to the station. But I have a bike that I would like to give you, so it's just 5 minutes down the street. So you can get to Alexanderplatz by bike plus the U8 in 25 minutes - typical Berlin.
There is also the Alt-Reinickendorf S-Bahn station, which is also 7 minutes away. The s25 takes you from Potsdamer Platz via Friedrichstraße to the Brandenburg Gate.
Bus 120 also stops on our street and runs through to the main station. You can also take the bus to Wedding in 15-20 minutes.
Now to the flat share:
You live with Miri (27), who started her first job almost six months ago.
She's super relaxed, now works as a junior marketing manager in an agency, goes to the gym every evening and loves traveling.
She will actually be moving out in July as she wants to go on another round trip to Asia and you can choose your new flatmate for the 6 months. So you can basically decide for yourself what your flatmate will be like.
That in a nutshell for now. We will discuss all further details in a meeting.
We would do both online and on-site viewings, depending on what you prefer or whether you can come to Berlin at all.
I look forward to hearing from you with a few words about you and what you're up to here in Berlin!
Best regards,
Jil & Miri
