The room itself is around 14m2, with some basic furnishings (bed, bedside table and wardrobe). It faces the backyard, so is relatively quiet.
Please do note that there is no living room, although the room is relatively good sized, and the guys normally create a "living room" area in their own rooms
The flat conveniently located for public transport. It is only 5 mins away from Nollendorfplatz station, which is 2 stops away from the Zoologischer Garten station where you can find further connections.
The Kiez itself is full of restaurants, bars and clubs in the Winterfeldplatz and Motzstraße area, and large open fields in Gleisdreieck area.
I'm the landlord, and don't live in the flat myself. As far as I know, the flatshare is pretty quiet, and would be ideal for an introvert. You will be sharing with a nurse and a data scientist, who work rather different hours, so don't really get together much.
If you are interested in the room, it would make sense to arrange a WhatsApp call with the current tenants (which might be a bit easier than physically meeting up).
Minimum rental period is 1 year. Anmeldung is possible, and bills are included (within reason)
Normally there are 3 things we need to arrange:
- Viewing the flat / room
- A chat/meeting with the guys you will be living with (how the flatshare works socially, cleaning schedule etc)
- Documents (passport, employment contract and 3 months bank statement)
Regarding the documents - I'm currently in Singapore, so if you're not comfortable sending the documents to me via email, we can make arrangements for you to show physical copies to my partner who lives in Berlin.
