The room has wooden floorboards, a wooden bunk bed, and it is furnished. You would share the kitchen and bathroom with my flatmate.
The apartment is quiet and at a convenient central position at the same time. Our house is located in a backyard and surrounded by other houses with green trees and grass in between.
At the same time, there is a perfect connection to trains and buses (2 min. walking distance to station: Rathaus Steglitz) and there are all shops you could possibly want. It's perfect for getting to around in Berlin since you have an U-Bahn, S-Bahn and bus station at your doorstep.
I would appreciate someone open-minded, sociable, communicative. I'm 41, I teach English and music at a secondary school, and German to foreign students.

The apartment is perfectly located right at the U9 S Bahn stop Rathaus Steglitz. (2min walking distance)
There is a perfect connection to trains U9 and S1 and buses.
There are all shops you could possibly want.
It's perfect for getting to most universities and into the very city centre. Freie Universität (10 min by bike or bus), University of Arts and the Technical University( 15-20 min by bike or train). To get to the Humboldt University it would take you about 30 min all together.
Furthermore, if you like the environment: there are two beautiful lakes and a big forest ( Schlachtensee & Krumme Lanke & Grunewald). Perfect for runs, swims, and long walks tool
Important to me is a friendly, caring, and supportive atmosphere at home.
I sublet my room because I will be on holidays. You will be staying with my flatmate.
