I‘m renting out my spacious room in Wedding during the winter. It is cozy, quiet and centrally located with good access to a range of public transport methods. Included are a lot of plants, fast WiFi and a good set of speakers.
Since it‘s part of a shared flat, kitchen and bathroom will be shared with my two flatmates, who are 24 and 26.
Über die Winterferien vermiete ich mein großes, helles und gemütlich eingerichtetes Altbauzimmer in einer 3er-WG im Wedding. Inkusive sind viele Pflanzen, eine Nachtspeicherheizung mit integrierter Lüftung und gute Boxen.
Die Wohnung befindet sich im dritten OG und ist von uns selbst renoviert worden, was ihr entsprechend Flair verleiht. Wasch- und Spülmaschine sowie ein kleiner Balkon sind ebenfalls vorhanden.
Die Miete bezieht sich auf den gesamten Zeitraum.
Close to my place are a tiny river, alongside which it is very green and you can have nice walks, two artist spaces (Panke Club & Gallery and Savvy Contemporary) that host exhibitions, bar evenings and club events, the beautiful and big Humboldthain park with a platform with a view over Berlin, and of course an abundance of restaurants, Spätis (late night shops) and supermarkets. All of the above are reachable by foot in less than 10, some in less than 5 minutes.
The district Wedding is culturally very diverse and offers a variety of entertainment, but the connection to other districts via public transport is still very good (30-45min to Kreuzberg/Neukölln, e.g. for clubbing or long bar nights), as there are many important tube and train lines close by.
Das Haus liegt direkt an der Panke, die die einen zu einem Spaziergang durch den Wedding, die anderen zu einem kühlen Sternburg verführt. Der große Volkspark Humboldthain, der nur zehn Minuten zu Fuß entfernt liegt, bietet neben einem Schwimmbad auch einen Aussichtspunkt über die Stadt.
Direkt um die Ecke befinden sich viele türkische Lebensmittelläden sowie der Nettelbeckplatz mit mehreren Spätis, Restaurants, einer Bäckerei und einer Apotheke. In fünf bzw. zehn Minuten ist
man am Netto bzw. Lidl, in 15 Minuten am Karstadt am Leopoldplatz. Für den entspannten Feierabend bietet der Kiez verschiedene urige Kneipen in unmittelbarer Nähe, wie zum Beispiel das Forsberg in der Gerichtsstraße, oder den Club Panke, der am Wochenende manchmal entspannte Musik bringt.
Die Anbindung ist spitze: Am S&U Bahnhof Wedding (5 min zu Fuß) fahren Ringbahn und U6 (über Friedrichstraße), am S Bahnhof Humboldthain (10 min zu Fuß) die S1, S2 und S25, an der U Nauener Platz (15 min zu Fuß) verkehrt die U9, an der U Pankstraße (15 min zu Fuß) die U8. Außerdem fahren die Busse M27, 247 und 120 am Nettelbeckplatz. Insgesamt lässt sich also alles schnell und ohne großes Umsteigen erreichen.
My two roomies are Judith and Michael, who study and work. They are very cute and open-minded.
Meine beiden Mitbewohner sind Michael, der als Architekt arbeitet, zeichnet und gern Jazz hört, und Judith, die Soziologie studiert und oft ins Theater geht. Wir machen alle eher unser Ding (grade Michi ist in letzter Zeit immer bis spät arbeiten) aber essen auch gerne mal zusammen.
