Renting large room, 23 m2, with balcony, from 17.10.2023 – to 31.10.2023 in Wedding Berlin.
ABOUT THE ROOM
The room is furnished, which means that everything you need is already there: bed, wardrobe, mirrors (several) and a desk. You also have a fair-sized balcony attached to your room.
WG LIFE & THE APARTMENT
The WG consists of 3 people in total. There is 1 shared bathroom and kitchen with a large hallway. The flat is located on the 3rd floor with use of a small lift.
The WG is very chilled and can be quite social on occasion. Perhaps a wine together now and again and food too.
We have gone to bars, or attended other events in around the city together but it's usually very spontaneous. Since we all 3 are travelling this summer, you will be living with Ridrigo and Christian, so you'll see how much time you want to spend together depending on the vibe :)
THE AREA
The area is very well connected. Close to u6, u9 and u8 as well as S-Bahn Ringbahn. Penny and Lidl are both within 1 minutes’ walk – with other shops such as Rewe being located within walking distance too. There is also handful on nice bars, coffee shops and eating places in the area.
But let’s not carried away, this is Wedding, you won’t be seeing any tour buses nearby.
HOUSE RULES & CHORES
We have a weekly cleaning plan that alternates. Although it's a very short time, it would be nice if you could help the other two people to keep the kitchen and the bathroom decent so that everyone feels comfortable. Hence, we expect you to put your dishes in the dishwasher, clean the table after eating and similar things that are obvious to avoid chaos in the shared rooms :)
When it comes to noise, I guess it’s pretty much common sense. No early hour drum or drinking sessions is appreciated. The walls are thin and noise can travel easily.
About the people living there:
Rodrigo is from Chile, he is very sweet and funny, speaks spanish and just moved to Berlin.
Marta is a great cook, loves drinking tea and having chilled evenings. She usually likes socializing but right now she is very busy because she is currently working on a big v-jay project.
Elli is high energy and very social. She likes plants and whish for her room someone who could have a look at her babies without killing them, while she is away:)
What are we looking for?
A question like this is hard to answer. It’s more of a feeling. But just a nice, normal human being, that has respect for themselves, others and the WG would be nice. We don’t just want to have someone to fill the room and pay the bills, we hope that during your stay that we can be friends, share laughs, wine and so on.
