We are looking for a new tenant to move into our 5-person WG, available immediately for 6 months while our roommate is away. We are also fine if you move in up to Mid-July. Located in Wedding/Gesundbrunnen, it is a well-lit, furnished, 13.5sqm room with a desk, wardrobes, chair, and bed available. The apartment has two bathrooms, and one person has his own en-suite kitchen so the four of us are sharing the main kitchen. It is on the 5th floor with an elevator.
*The room is available for a 6 month subletting period starting on July 1st. Unforunately Anmeldung is not Possible*
The flat is a minute away from U-bahn Osloerstr., where you will find the U8 and U9. If you like the tram, M13, 12, and 50 are at your disposal. Bus 128 is around the corner and gets you directly to Tegel Airport. If airplanes are not your thing, the Hauptbahnhof is less than 20 minutes away by public transit and bike.
Kaufland, Norma, and a bunch of ethnic supermarkets are within 5 minutes walk, and a nice fruit and vegetables salesperson downstairs with affordable prices. Go a little further and you will find almost every other type of supermarket. We also have our favorite local falafel places, bars, and pizzerias in the neighborhood to make the most of the scene in Wedding.
You will be living with Anton (21/Austrian), Celine (21/Luxembourgish), Hannah (21/German-American-Korean), and Paxia (22/Indonesian). We are an empathy-oriented household. All of us are students in Berlin, so in the context of the pandemic, you will find us at home during the week with more time outdoors during the summer. We see the home as an open-minded safe space, and occasionally cook with each other. Please mention "social distancing" in your message to us so we know you've read the message properly. Each of us have relatively busy lives during the week but are not a purpose-WG.
We are NOT a purpose-WG! Aside from that, we’re looking for someone who is not a mess, and can clean up after themselves whether it be the dishes, your stray hairs, or the kitchen counters. As for the fridge, we usually get our own groceries but share the essentials. Communication is key; if something is bothering you, we prefer to handle these issues as soon as possible before it gets passive-aggressive.
