We are looking for a new flatmate from February 14th!
The room is 16 sqm, is laminated and comes along with the typical Altbau charm – high ceilings, decorated with beautiful stucco. Your window is facing the street, which is a side street just off Müllerstraße.
The room is partly furnished, it will have a mattress (140x200), table and chair, two bookshelves and a small closet available! The furniture you see in the photos are from previous tenants so it will not be in the room. Another important detail is the room shares 2 doors with Catarina's room, but they are closed at all times.
Its a really nicely sized room with a southeast window so you would get really nice light there.
Our flat is located just 6 minutes from U-Bahn station Seestraße (U6), as well as a tram stop (lines 13, 50). Bus 120 runs just outside our door from the station Türkenstraße (also comes in handy whenever travelling to and from the central station).
There's a lot of shopping options with Kaufland, Edeka, Lidl or Aldi being just a couple of minutes away. A bit further down Müllerstraße there's also Rewe, BioCompany, or a couple of DM's. As well connected as we are to any shopping needs, there's also beautiful options to chill with friends or go for a run as down the street you can find Schillerpark and a short 10/15min walk there's Volkspark Rehberge and Plötzensee.
Onie is leaving our flat to go back to Korea so we are looking for a new flatmate to share our space with and take over the room from February 14th!
Currently, you can find Julia (23, student) and Catarina (28, architect/designer). We speak English in the flat but you can practice your German with Julia too! Or your Portuguese with Catarina.
We describe our flat share as a welcoming and relaxed space. We enjoy having our chats in the kitchen (or the balcony in Catarina's room when the weather allows it) and sharing a drink or any baked goods we prepare. At the same time, we also value privacy and alone-time whenever we need it.
As we work/study from home and in shifts, we are looking for someone who is respectful of that schedule. Overall, we have a really balanced dynamic in the flat and are looking for someone that shares this approach and is understanding of our schedules, but also enjoys spending some time together and getting to know each other!
