I'm moving out and a room in my shared apartment is going to be unoccupied. It's a comfortable room in a two-person apartment in Wedding for about five months (05.03.2022-31.07.2022). Perfect for a clean, friendly, person looking for a temporary space.
The room is usually used for sleeping and as a workspace. It’s currently set up for music production, with a bit of acoustic treatment on the walls and ceiling, as shown in the pictures, but most of this will be removed apart from the ones hanging from the ceiling. The desk might also be swapped for a different one, but otherwise the layout of the room will remain the same as in the pictures (or adjusted a bit according to your needs). The room faces the inner courtyard, and is dead quiet most of the time, also pleasantly cool in summer.
The apartment is on the 4th floor of an old renovated building (with elevator), on a relatively quiet street. Good internet connection, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. Located in the up-and-coming Afrikanisches Viertel in Wedding, five minutes walk from U Seestr. Plenty of shops, restaurants, parks, and even a small lake with Freibad within easy walking distance.
Your roommate will be Christopher, 31, from South Africa/the USA. He is a professional composer for media who works mostly from home. He also loves nature, philosophy, and regularly cooks up a storm in the kitchen.
Monthly rent will be 500 € all-inclusive, plus 20 € for communal costs (e.g. cleaning supplies). Deposit of 500 €, and we’ll make a small contract for everyone’s peace of mind. Anmeldung is likely to be possible, but subject to the subtenant’s approval by the landlord.
