Shared apartment or start a WG? (Unlimited, not temporary)

Hello. My name is Ryan (38) and I'm trying to navigate the awful Berlin rental market. I've had no luck searching for a one-room apartment for myself, so perhaps it's easier to join forces with someone else to start a WG? Or I can join a WG. I could afford 900 per month.

I work full time at a publisher in Kreuzberg. I'm quiet, clean and respectful and interested in sharing with someone who is similar. Ideally not someone who will play techno until 5am or go crazy hosting house parties. I'd love the vibe to be pretty chill, sociable, friendly and respectful.
