More information about me

Hallo !

My name is Régis and I'm a french 22 student in master degree of History who decided to take a gap year to better discover Germany and improve his linguistic skills :)

In Berlin, I will work as a french assistant teacher in the Diesterweg's Gymnasium in Wedding, which will give me 1000€ of income and largely enough to have stability to pay the rent every month. As I will work from September to the 31/05/2024, I'm looking for a flat-share on that period 😊

In France, I'm from Lyon but I also studied in Marseille and now in Paris in Sciences Po. I used to live alone or in WG since my 18 in these cities and learned how to keep an appartement clean as well as having great and respectful relationship with my roommates

I like reading and the world of culture in general. I love to learn always more think about my society and the people around me. I'm fully convinced that social sciences learned us to better understand each our and to live in a more tolerant society ;)

But hopefully, I'm not always with a book, I also like to chat with people, drink a beer (maybe I'm already a German inhabitant) and discovering new cool places in the city and I'm really open minded to all type of places.

I like practising sport and going to the gym, but I'm not that type of guy that stop doing everything in his life except eating healthy and crying when he misses a training 😅

If I like partying, I also like to have some moments more chill where I can just chat and better know the people around me. I rarely go out to the middle of the night more than once a week for instance ! (Maybe I'm still 30 and not 22 on that point😂)

In France, I also like to participate in the everyday life of a city, and, as demonstrations are an entire part of our culture 😭, I also like to demonstrate and be aware of the political life of my country or of Europe in general :)

Finallyyy, I learned German a lot in my studies and I'm still B2/C1 (but I'm writing in English, yes, I'm a shame for my German teachers... ), which could help us to better understand each other. I hope that at the end of my gap year I could be a fluent German French guy 🤓

If you have any question, don't hesitate to call me ----/-------) or to email me at , I'm sure we could be good roommates or I could learn you some words or tips in french for your next vacancy at least 🙃
Best regards, Régis.
