German-American Filmmaker looking for a friendly WG

Hi all,

My name is Adrian and I am a German American filmmaker looking for shared space in Berlin. I am busy and easy going and enjoy time to myself- that said, I am not socially averse. I am clean, respectful and always willing to communicate. I’m not opposed to the occasional movie night and I am always ready to “Chef it up” if the occasion calls. When the time is right, long meandering conversations about nerdy subjects tend to occur.

Outside of occasion, I have a fairly intense work ethic regarding my filmmaking, documentary production, videography. I am looking for someone with a similar attitude. Often I will spend consecutive days outside working on shoots and chasing leads late into the night. I spend most of my life pursuing this so it's not out of the ordinary for me to appear gone for days at a time (even if I’m actually there).

Aside from videography and filmmaking I enjoy small venue concerts. I enjoy the two so much that when I have a free night you can find me filming a small documentary on a small touring band. The movies and film fests are always on the agenda. I enjoy working the chess muscle and brainstorming silly and serious film concepts. HIking, swimming, and festivals in the summer are constant.

Some info/preferences, early mornings and late nights are my usual so I am rarely stirred by other’s schedules. That said, accessible common space and a private room are a must.

When at home I’m usually locked into my editing or writing but I always appreciate social gatherings and activities when they#re offered. Although I’m fairly intense with my passions outside of the apartment, home tends to be a place to psychologically clean and recharge so good communication and healthy relationships are something I really appreciate. Respected time alone is also essential. A socially vibrant and colorful living space is something I really enjoy as well so respectful guests and gatherings are always appreciated! I tend to get along with most people :) I’m building a life here in Berlin so new people are always fun.

On a more broad note, some basic background - I moved to Berlin about five months ago from New York City, where I lived, worked and studied for about five years, so I am seasoned in shared apartment living and I am comfortable adapting to varied living situations without altering my lifestyle too much. I grew up in San Diego before that so surfing is always on the agenda… If it existed here :( I would really love to meet in person or assume further contact as there is only so much you can convey over this blurb.
