Vegetarian Buddhist

American artist moving to Berlin for the art scene. I'm in my 50's, but most of my friends are in their 30's, 40's.
I'm very open-minded, bi-sexual, have traveled the world. I'm a scholar of Eastern texts, I have a higher degree.
I like a quiet household, I do my practices in the mornings and I need a place to do my Tai Chi and Chi-Gong. That only requires about 3 metres of unimpeded floor space.
I've been an artist all my life, with moderate success- two one man shows and a number of Museum shows. My career was part-time for many years while I was a mom. Now I am looking to ramp it up, big time. I choose to be in a stimulating artistic environment and Berlin is perfect. I work abstract mostly and am concerned with forms indicating movement.
I will be looking for a live-in studio, but will need a room until I locate where I want to be and in what studio complex. I'll also be checking out Buddhist centres. I have connections to Tibetan Gelugpa and Tibetan Nyingma traditions. I am also very interested in teachings tailored to the western mind, and how they are choosing to accomplish that.
I would love to meet/share a household of people of similar interests.
I'm on a small income, just starting out here, so I need to keep my rent to 200 to 250 tops. and I must have wifi, and a place to cook. Thanks for any help. May you be well, may you be happy! Christie
