Freelance Filmmaker Seeks WG-Zimmer

Hi there!

My name's Will, and I'm a freelance filmmaker from LA, and originally the UK, looking for a new WG in Berlin. I've lived here around 5 months now, and love the cultural mash-up this beautiful city has to offer. Since I'm not that talkative a person, and I work from home, I'm looking for a room that is relatively quiet, with a peaceful atmosphere. Good internet and mutually respectful roommates are important to me, as in addition to working on films, I also teach English online, which requires a good learning environment.

However, being in Berlin is also about meeting new people, so all that being said - I do love a good chat! Whether it's about movies (especially movies!), food systems (I'm vegetarian, but don't mind meat), UK and US politics, literature, dogs, longboarding, cooking... All these are passions of mine that I could talk with people about endlessly. I am learning German at the moment, and while I can speak it decently, I am still working out how to convey nuance in the language. I would really appreciate being able to practice with my roommates! In terms of cleanliness, I generally clean up after myself, and am happy to adapt to a Putzplan. Having lived in WGs for over 3 years now, I am no stranger to communal living :)
