(M) American master's student searching for a place to stay in Berlin

I don't really have any specific requirements. Just a grad student looking for a flat, whether a studio, single-room apartment or a flatshare. I'm trying to learn German, so a flatshare with German speakers would be great, but I get on with just about anyone. I'm pretty laid back, studying neuroscience but into lots of things, especially music, languages, tv and video games, I try to be physically active but I'm not always successful, especially during school. I'm a pretty serious student, but I very much enjoy going out and having drinks with friends, meeting new people and the occasional party. I sing and play guitar, prefer deep philosophical conversation to small-talk, I speak French fluently and an ok amount of Spanish, used to be an English teacher, and before that I did sound for movies and animations. I'm cool with just about any type of apartment, but I wouldn't mind if it were close-ish to Mitte where I'm going to school, or else close to public transport. In terms of the apartment itself, I'm not super picky. I think it's a lot more important to click with your roommates.
