Editor/Writer seeking "boring" roommate(s) :)

Hi!

I’m Laura, 35, from the U.S. I speak English, Spanish, a (very) little bit of Portuguese, and I’m currently studying German. I work primarily as an editor for academic researchers, but I also read tarot cards. In my spare time, I do independent writing projects (e.g., book, blog). I also love reading, taking looooong walks, and traveling when I can.

As a roommate and as a person, I’m friendly, independent, easy-going, and respectful. I don’t rely on roommates to “entertain” me, but I’m happy to do social things occasionally. I’m usually pretty busy with my projects, so if you’re looking for a best friend to do everything with you, I’m not the right fit… BUT if you want somebody personable to coexist with you in a place that’s calm and clean, then awesome. I’d even say I’m kind of “boring.” So if you are also boring and would like a pleasantly boring roommate, then perfect! :)

Regarding cleaning, my ideal situation is one where everyone takes care of their own messes on a regular basis. Putzplans are fine, but stuff like wiping off the stove, rinsing out the sink after brushing your teeth, etc. make life nicer for everyone. As for diets, I don’t mind what sort of food my roommates eat, as long as I may have an equitable amount of space in the fridge for my food too. :)

Finally, because I officially live here in Berlin on a work visa, I can only consider **legal** rental arrangements (i.e., those with the possibility of Anmeldung). I am seeking a long-term contract, but my move-in date is flexible.
