I’m Geoff, and I’m 31 years old. I am living here on a two-year freelance visa, and my German language level is A2.2. I moved here in May from Brooklyn, New York, though I’ve spent every summer here since 2015 and know the city well. I’m currently looking for something long-term.

About me: I’m a freelance journalist and art critic, who’s written for The Guardian, Artforum, Forbes, Spike, and New Models. When I’m home, I spend most of my time writing or reading, or listening to music softly (free jazz, ambient). When I’m out, I usually go see art openings, or am at queer techno parties once or twice a month, though I almost never bring people over. As a housemate, I’m super clean in the common area, like the bathroom or kitchen, and I have a KILLER habit of washing all of my dishes right after I use them :)

I can get along with pretty much anyone! I have a wide range of friends from around the world: artists, DJs, designers, writers. I’m queer and Chinese, and embrace people of all races, genders, and sexual orientation. I’m looking for an environment that is just as inclusive, because housemate relationships are important to me and I will treat you with high respect and maturity.
