General Info
My name is Amel, and I am looking for a WG from the beginning of October onwards. I will be coming to Berlin for a two-year Master’s degree at TU Berlin. I am from the land of stroopwafels and poffertjes 🇳🇱 and studied in Maastricht, but last year I've lived in beautiful Norge 🇳🇴 and city-state Singapore 🇸🇬.

About me
I would like to describe myself as kindhearted, curious and open-minded, but of course, anyone can say that about themselves ;). In my free time, I love listening to music, going for a hike, or having interesting conversations with others. Over the last years, I've interacted with people from many cultures, and it excites me to learn new languages and try new food. I would also like to integrate a bit into German culture. Trying new things excites me, and I'm always up for the next adventure.

In the previous rooms I've lived in, I made a good effort to keep it clean (including cleaning schedules etc), but I won't make a scene if someone would forget something once in a while - it's all about the common responsibility and friendly atmosphere in the house. I have a vegetarian diet, which I of course won't force on any of my flatmates ;)

WG
My ideal WG offers a sense of friendship, of community. Living with 2 lovely roommates in Oslo has taught me how nice it can be to offer each other support or just talk about your day, or to explore new parts of town and try new things. I definitely far prefer this over anonymous cohabitation - a good home base can make such a difference.
